Do not trust this person!!!!She’s accusing us of leaving 20 minutes after checkout when we have timestamps of the Uber and damaging her property!!! we are a group of retired law-enforcement, border patrol and business owners…… if we had damaged her property, we would have told her about it as I have done in the past when I damaged a property on accident……She is withholding my deposit unrightfully and will not give me a time when it will be returned…….This owner should be questioning her staff who cleans the house as they blatantly lied about us being there after checkout I’m assuming they would lie about damage also!!!!

The communication between us and VRBO hosts was nonexistent! We wrote to them about our concerns and NO ONE RESPONDED.

We rented the house to get our family together for a week, six adults, four pre-teens. The house was comfortable and clean with great views of the water. It was easy to come together for meals and gathering, but large enough for people to have time alone. One note: the house is rated for 10 guests, but the dining table has 8 chairs, so we brought 2 folding chairs from home.

We loved everything about this house. The views in every direction are spectacular. We kayaked every day - so easy to get the kayaks into the water!

Everything was fine and ready for us. The facilities were great.

An absolutely stunning view! Beds were comfortable and everything was clean.

The location was beautiful and accurate. However, first of all, the cleaning crew left Starbucks drinks in the fridge. There was exactly 1 towel per person and 1 hand towel per bathroom. And with 9 people in the house the hand towels were constantly soaked. The washer and dryer was dirty and the dryer lint collector was more than full upon arrival. The floors were vacuumed but left your socks black at days end. The vacuum, upon arrival, was plugged with dirt and hair that we had to remove for the vacuum to work. The back door would not shut properly upon arrival and they are now charging us 1000 for a rusted door that was old and non functioning. Everyone would wake in the morning with new bug bites. Upon departure we had to remove the sheets and found spiders in the beds! We also had to clean the house, remove garbage, clean dishes and put away before departure. The house looked better when leaving than arriving. We would not repeat a stay if we were to return to Bailey Island.

This home is truly 'as advertised '. Our three adult children (and their significant others) gathered here for 7 days, to celebrate my wife's birthday. The home is stunning, the views are remarkable, and our hosts were gracious.

We had a great stay in this fabulous property. It meet all our expectations. The beds were very comfortable for a group of seniors who can be critical at times.

Amazing house and excellent location. We ate a lot of lobster, went lobstering, ventured out on a Schooner and enjoyed spending time with our family.Thank you.

We were a family of 6 adults traveling from GA, VA, UT & NY to vacation at this lovely home on the water. We loved having the convenience of Cook’s Restaurant and Sundrenched restaurant so close by. We bought our lobsters and fresh seafood from Gurnet Trading Company which was great. Unfortunately we couldn’t really use the screened porch because the furniture was just way too large for the small room. We couldn’t get around the table because of the large chairs with arms. The dining room chairs are very heavy also but not really a deterrent. The location of this house is fantastic …breathtaking views all around. The host was very quick to respond when we had an issue with the pump alarm going off. We loved having the decks and especially the seating area by the water. We never used a TV while we were there because we were just enjoying our time at this lovely house. It’s about a 25 - 30 minute drive to Brunswick so we did most of our grocery shopping on our way to the house. Although the description said toilet paper, paper towels, etc. were provided, we found that we had to shop for more shortly after we arrived. And there was only one garbage bag. These are minor things we just wanted renters to be aware of.
