Panoramic Ocean View Villa & Pool in Sesimbra by Rent4Rest

We really enjoyed our stay. The property was perfect for our needs. We thought a better meet from the hosts might’ve been good though. The lady basically just handed the keys to us, shrugged that she had no English and left. Also, the bed in the first floor double room was probably in need of a new mattress. The pool was great although it was very windy meaning we couldn’t enjoy the outdoor space as much as we’d have liked. Overall though, a great place for a week for two families with small kids - as long as you don’t mind the uphill walk home from the beach!

Fabulous location perched on top of the hill with a view of the bay, gorgeous pool, garden, living area and all the rest. Our family had a fantastic time. Hosts were v responsive to any questions we had and we felt very well looked after. Some of the pillows in the bedrooms could be replaced as the stuffing has lost a bit of life. It would be great to include washing detergent for clothes with the house as well.

We had a great week in Sesimbra, the property was spacious and had all what we needed. Filipa was quick to respond to any queries and had great advice on trips and travel. The pool and outside space was great including the BBQ. Some of the shower fixings on the top floor need to be improved and some of the furniture could be more comfortable in the living areas, but these are only minor points

Lovely large property in a great location, 15 minute walk to the beach and restaurants. Steep uphill climb on the way back though with unmade paths. Pool and garden delightful, but with only 4 Sun loungers. Kitchen ok, but lacking some crockery and with many chipped mugs. Bathrooms very disappointing-desperately need updating- 1 shower dilapidated and unusable, other 2 showers dated and not very hygienic. Narrow winding metal staircase to master bedroom in the loft would be unsuitable for many. Fantastic beaches within 15/20 minute drive and Convenient for a lovely day trip to Lisbon by car and ferry.

A beautiful house perfect for a big group of friends or family. Very nice garden and pool

We all loved the space in the house and the feeling of safety for the children. The large upper balcony was a cool haven in the heat of the day. Enough space for people not to feel on top of each other. There were plenty of bin bags to help keep the property tidy and also pool toys left for children. The views are also very appealing. It is a very enjoyable property. The staff during the prolonged booking period due to Covid were very understanding. The information said there would be dishwasher tablets left but there were none and the glasses in the cupboard all were great looking and needed waking up before use. so if it could be arranged to ensure the tablets are there it would help new arrivals who like us did not have transport until our family arrived to get to the supermarket. Also there were only 5 wine glasses of different sizes so perhaps at least 6 the same size would make it fairer, if possible.

Very beautiful traditional house - perfect for a family stay. Gorgeous pool and garden. We loved it! Had a wonderful week in July - celebrating my partner’s 60th birthday. I would thoroughly recommend this property.

Our family of 6 adults got to enjoy this spacious villa for a week. The house has everything you could wish for and the location is perfect near the beach and short walk to several restaurants.

The property is in an ideal location, close to the beaches, bars and restaurants. With spacious accommodation and great pool it was just what we wanted. We particularly enjoyed eating out in the evening at Casa Mateus in town and lunch close by at the beach at Porrifino.
