Stayed Mar 16, 2025We stayed here over spring break with a large family group—my family of four, my sister's family of four, our grandparents, and our aunt. Communication with the host was excellent—clear, prompt, and helpful. Check-in was seamless, and the home was easy to find using GPS.As noted in the listing, the driveway is steep, but both our vehicles (a Chevy Suburban and a Chrysler Pacifica) handled it with no issues. The home itself was exactly as described and looked just like the photos—if not better. Everyone in our group was very pleased with the accommodations, especially the bedding and the comfort of the beds. The view from the home actually exceeded our expectations—it was even more stunning than what’s shown in the listing photos. While some nearby roads were still damaged from Hurricane Helene, we were able to take alternate routes. Though they were a bit longer, the scenic backroads made the extra drive totally worth it.The house came fully stocked with everything we needed—and more. The hot tub was clean and well-maintained, and the fire pit was perfect for enjoying cool evenings and roasting s'mores. We honestly can't say enough good things about this home. Every single one of us loved it, and we’re already planning a return trip in the future.

Stayed Sep 20, 2024Great cabin for mountain get away! The view from there is amazing and very peaceful. Each room has a bathroom which is nice. Some more tightly spaced than others. Very accurate on instructions while arriving since is a very steep entrance. Definitely need a 4x4 to get in the property. Views from deck on second floor are stunning!!! It has 7 beds, so one extra besides 6 of the ones listed which is a nice addition. One of the bathrooms downstairs has mold in the ceiling and gave a friend some allergies. There is only 4 forks and multiple spoons so bring some disposable plates and silverware if you are having a large party like mine, we had to run the dishwasher multiple times. Coffee selection was great as complimentary. All beds were comfy. Takes about 20-30min to get to town so get your groceries before getting there. Starlink Wifi is not the best so if you are planning on working from there, expect loosing signal quite constantly. As well, know your phone is dead too so wifi is your only way of calling/texting. Some instructions for the stove would be nice. It was confusing that the oven light was on when we got there and got little scared since is a gas stove, but we figured it out. Thankfully it was a full house of engineers! Overall, great getaway if you want to disconnect from the world! Amy gave instructions the day before the visit and was simple and well instructed. Would stay again for sure!!

Stayed Jul 5, 2024Enjoyed our stay. Location had a great view.Amy was great reaching out and making sure everything was in order. Only down side, would not recommend for children under 5, not very toddler friendly. However, would still highly recommend!!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Lovely home, my group of 8 had great weekend at this house. We had no issues accessing it with a regular vehicle, everything is paved leading up to the property. The owner was very responsive and easy to communicate with.

Stayed Jan 13, 2023It was a great time and place for a getaway. However, if the other 3 of our party had of been able to make it we would have been real tight. This is basically a tiny house with 6 rooms. Having ensuite bathrooms for all bedrooms is a real plus. This is not the place for you in cold months IF you are wanting a big family room for everyone to hang out. Great place to rent, but pictures make it appear larger than it really is. Would stay again if need be just not with the entire family ?

Stayed Dec 31, 1969This home is amazing. With 360 degree views of the mountain, this home doesn't disappoint. Mrs. Amy was there every step of the way and also check-in on us after we check-in. Any questions that we may had was answer in a timely manner. The home is just like the pictures that were provided. Mrs. Amy even provided firewood upon our arrival so we could do a bonfire one night. If you are looking for a peaceful spot and not to far from Asheville, this is your spot to go!
