Perfect place to spend time with friends from all over the states. Amazing scenery view over the balcony. Well insulated you can’t even feel the cold coming in. I’ll definitely rent it again if I have a chance of coming back. The hot tub was a cherry on top.
Loved this property and its fun floor plan. Spacious and lots of places to hang out as family and sleep. Loved the hot tub. Easy to use and beautiful view. Gas smell from the furnace room made us a little weary, but owner assured it has been checked out multiple times from the local fire department. Gas smell did make us hesitant to use fireplace.
We booked this property for the hot tub and view. The view was awesome but the hot tub was not. The house needs alot of work and needs to be cleaned. We definitely over paid would not recommend this property. I am sorry to say we just dealt with it and enjoyed our family time. We tried contacting guest services with no response.
We were excited to arrive at the property only to quickly discover that several things weren’t quite right. The door was unlocked upon arrival which we thought was odd. We went through the rooms to see who sleep where and when checking bedding found stained and dirty sheets, blankets, and mattresses on multiple beds. The Bunk room where the kids were planning to sleep didn’t have working lights, the bathroom didn’t have a lock, the tub didn’t have a plug to keep the water in, the DVD player didn’t have Cords that allowed it to function, and when we were ready to enjoy the hot tub we found the water cold and unusable. The property manager was quickie to communicate with us about our needs and concerns but nothing was done to fix any of the problems during our stay. The hot tub we were told had an air leak and we would need to reset it often during our stay. It was low on water and despite multiple resets, pots of water to refill, and attempts to use it, we were only able to use it for one night of our four night stay. We purchased a plug for the tub and cords for the DVD player and found old sheets in a closet to remake the beds. Aside from the issues above, the home was comfortable, well stocked, and we enjoyed our time as a groups of friends and family. The location was beautiful, we just wish we could have used the hot tub under the starry sky and had working and clean amenities inside As anticipated.
The house was great for our extended family with plenty of room. We had some issues when we first arrived, there was a 4 foot snow bank blocking the driveway and there were no towels in the home. Tina was a great help but the property was not prepared for guests when we arrived. Otherwise it was a great stay!
We appreciated the space. It was clean and allowed for comfortable spaces for everyone to sleep. There was a great view! Unfortunately, the driveway was not plowed before we arrived or during our time and there was quite a bit of snow. The property manager didn't respond when asking about snow removal. We had 4wheel drive and still got stuck in the driveway. I would suggest renting this space during the non snowy times.
Overall the trip was good, the house was nice but there was a strong smell of gas the whole time we were there. I reached out to the host and she said it had been checked. However, it was strong enough that as soon as you walked into the house it was noticeable and would give headaches. Definitely something is not right with the furnace exhaust. Due to the smell we will not rent again.
When you first walk in you get greeted by the small of gas coming from the garage mud room. Which was a bit alarming. We kept that section of the house closed. Once we got passed the gas smell we were a bit confused on the lay out. The master bathroom was dirty. Spider webs above the master bedroom shower and hair/pink stains all over the shower. The sheets in the master bedroom had hair on them and dirt. We had to shake all the sheets to get any dirt off. In the kitchen the dishes were still dirty from the past tenants. We had to re wash all the pots and pans. If it wasn’t for the hot tub and the view I would have considered finding another house. Overall for the rental price it was way over priced for what we got. Almost 1k a night with all the fees included. Plus a huge cleaning fee which we would have been happy to pay if the place was clean from the start. 2.5/5 start experience.
The fireplace and hot tub inside weren’t working. The water in the last night disappeared.
My husband, 2 kids (3yr and 6yr), and I stayed here for a week and really enjoyed it! The massive windows and views were what drew me in, and they did not disappoint! The hot tub is huge and all of us enjoyed it each night. Beds were all comfortable! You definitely need a 4 wheel drive vehicle for Winter months. Very close (15min) to restaurants (fyi most close early!), skiing, snow tubing, snow mobility, Hot Sulphur Springs and more! Eat at Strip and Tail on Sunday for all you can eat snow crab legs (must make reservation). Our only suggestion would be to add TVs to the bedrooms, as there is only one TV downstairs. Overall, we enjoyed and would recommend!
