The space
This home is one of 27 homes designed by Donald Wexler, architect and built by Alexander Homes in the Green Fairway Estates neigborhood of Palm Springs. It is located on the 7th Green of the Tauhquitz Golf Club. Some new design elements have been added such as the Redwood entry fencing.

Home has been updated with Stone kitchen counter tops, new master bath with a shower opening to a private courtyard and a 75” Sony television's with a Sonos Theater audio system if you are so inclined. Everything in the way of a fully stocked kitchen is provided for an extended stay. Casita has its own kitchenette for that added bit of Privacy.

    After a decade at the same vacation rental, the owner sold, and we had to find a new home away from home. We were very nervous about the change, but we got lucky with this Wexler-designed Alexander Home a little bit south and east of downtown. The perfect place to be in the city!This is a beautiful home with really comfortable furniture, great mattresses (no backaches here), a beautiful backyard with a great view of the San Jacinto Mountains (and all the gorgeous sunsets), a big spa and gorgeous pool…everything you could possibly want for a relaxing, rejuvenating vacation of any length! Even the sheets and towels were good quality. The kitchen is a little small but has a beautiful gas range, built-in oven and broiler, a fairly quiet dishwasher, and everything else you would need to cook a fabulous meal. But who goes to Palm Springs to cook? Not me, at least not this year, maybe next year (big maybe)! But again, the kitchen is fully equipped! Oh, another reason not to cook in the kitchen is the big gas grill in the backyard (who wants a thick steak, or some shrimp on the Barbie!) Also, the TV is huge and displays crystal-clear color.The owner is Kim, and he was perfect. After giving us a couple of days to get settled in, he came over to meet us and answer any questions. Very friendly, kind, and interested in making sure we had everything we needed. I can’t imagine a situation where you would feel differently.Thank you, Kim. See you in fewer than ten months!
