Palace of Dreams, Ultra-Modern Spanish Estate, Spectacular Views. Hot Springs.

The home is as beautiful and spacious as the photos depict. It is at the end of a road in a very safe neighborhood with plenty of privacy. When we first arrived we were greeted by Luis, the onsite caretaker. Luis, with very impressive English language skills, was extremely helpful in getting us settled and all during our stay. Ken, the host, was half a world away but very responsive and so easy to work with. The views were breathtaking, both day and night. We spent most evenings looking out over San Jose while chatting about our day. The home had everything we needed for a comfortable stay - fully stocked kitchen, washer & dryer, etc. We both spent time working during our visit so internet access was critical. We were impressed by the reliability and speed and were able to work without interruption. There are plenty of restaurants in Escazu for either dining out or delivery (we used Uber eats for delivery). There is also a Fresh Market less than a mile from the home with plenty of options for a home cooked meal. We highly recommend this beautiful property!

This is an amazing house that we have not found the likes of anywhere else we have ever traveled to. A group of seven friends and I were traveling around the country and wanted to have a safe home base in San Jose as a launch point for our day trips. Rarely, have I ever found such an impressive place to stay in San Jose. A caretaker with great English skills greeted us upon arrival and helped get us settled. This house has sweeping views of the city and the National Stadium. Each bedroom is luxurious and huge. Wall to wall marble and granite, an I Robot sweeps the floors daily. A gentle breeze blows through the entire house from the mountains. The grand piano was a delightful touch for the musician in our group. The kitchen was perfect for all our guests who could cook, mingle, eat and watch TV while enjoying their meal on the granite breakfast table. The furniture, house and grounds overall is incredible. Every bedroom and bathroom is Modern, spacious, detailed and luxurious. The only thing missing is a pool which we hear is in the works. A stones throw from the famous Mirador restsuramt of Tiquisia. Probably the nicest view in all of Costa Rica. I highly recommend this house for anyone who needs to be in San Jose. Perfect for living, entertaining and impressing.
