Pacifica - A Custom Timberframe Home, District of Tofino # LIC-2024-0227

Pacifico was a lovely home for our adult family to stay! Roomy, well appointed with plenty of utensils in the kitchen! Was fantastic for all of us to have our own rooms and full bathrooms (3 couples). A few of us enjoyed the hot tub and really enjoyed having billiards available!Very minor issues to be addressed were a non working dishwasher (there is another one) and a few outdated condiments but that would not deter us from staying here again! Location was amazing-2min walk to Chesterman Beach!!

The location is fantastic in terms of ease of beach access.

The house was very nice and the location is fantastic! Very short walk to the beach and there is also a bike and walking path from the house to a local shopping center with a cafe, chocolate shop, food, surf rentals, and bike rentals etc. The house was well equipped and had boogie boards, skim boards, beach towels, sand toys, and wagon to make going to the beach and stores very easy. Chesterman beach was great for surfing, boogie boarding, skim boarding and walking along the beautiful coast. Very relaxing and pleasant stay

Lots of room for my husband and I, our two teenagers, as well as the in-laws and our pup. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location was great! We were able to surf at North Chesterman and then walk back to the house (5min) to warm up. Hot tub was clean and hot, furniture was comfortable, and the kitchen was well-stocked. We used the bbq, and the pool table was a fun bonus. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

We liked the ample living area and good kitchen, with two dishwashers being useful. Well equipped, though we could have used more crockery (bowls and coffee mugs) and tumblers. Good wifi, and the pool table is fun. It took a while to figure out the somewhat odd lighting system. Easy to keep the place clean thanks to hardwood floors. Short walk to the beach, so you don't have to look and pay for parking. Overall a very good experience.

Very nice property but needs some cleaning attention. Baseboards, window sills etc. were dusty, carpets need shampooing, hot tub jets not working and drain in master tub rusty. Other than that much enjoyed by all. As a tip, cord of firewood would be nice for guests to use in fire pit. Beds very comfortable. Would come again.

Our group had yet another great stay at Pacifica in Tofino. The host was awesome and ensured that everything was in place for an amazing West Coast experience. Perfect for easy access to the beach and the surf. Can’t wait for our next visit. Highly recommend

This was our second time staying at this property, a moments walk to Chesterman Beach. The house had lots of room, almost everything we needed (I brought a teapot this time, and left it behind for the next time!). The oven could use a good cleaning, but overall, the cleanliness was great. Thanksgiving is a time for being together and counting our blessings—no better way to do that than spending time eating and playing together in Tofino. We will absolutely stay again.

Pacifica was just as the photos had shown it to be and the walk to Chesterman Beach was just as short as it had been said to be. All five of us (four of us for Oct 4 - 8; one flew via seaplane and joined us for one night) and our two dogs thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Pacifica with close proximity to the beach and the Pacific Ocean's surf. One disappointment was that the hot tub did NOT work. We'd anticipated using the hot tub, but were told via a written note upon arriving that there was a problem with temp control, that they were trying to resolve the issue, but please do NOT touch the temp control. In other words, the hot tub does NOT work right now. A second, slightly lesser disappointment was that we could NOT turn on the gas fireplace for an evening's coziness--none of the wall switches produced a positive response, and we thought that the pilot light had maybe been turned off purposefully. Would we return? YES! The rooms at Pacifica, the large table in the dining area, the overstuffed, comfortable chairs and sofas, the comfortable beds, the wood of the interior, TWO dishwashers, AND the close proximity to the beach--all could be strong reasons to return to Pacifica!

This was the perfect location for three couples looking for a place to celebrate (quietly) milestone birthdays for three of our group. Being within a five-minute walk to Chesterman Beach for us to walk and the dogs to run was fabulous. The house was immaculate, and it was great for each couple to have their own full bathroom. We were pleasantly surprised by the sizable number of dishes, glasses, cutlery, cooking utensils, and pots and pans. When six people stay in a house, it's great to have plenty of dishes. Having two dishwashers was an absolute treat. Fred was a great host. He responded quickly to all the questions we had before and during our stay. The only reason we did not give the property five stars as an overall rating is that the propane supplier did not properly manage the amount of propane in the tank, and we ran out of propane early on day 4 of the six days we were there. That meant we could not use the BBQ, the gas cooktop, or the fireplace. Fred did everything he could to get the propane tank filled but was not successful. Notwithstanding the issue with the propane, we had a great time, would stay here again, and would definitely recommend Fred's house.

It's always a beautiful stay! We only wish the hot tub had been working properly :)

I think this is our fourth time back at Fred's place. Never disappoints. Great location, great house, great service and a fantastic vacation. We'll be back again for sure. Thanks for another wonderful time Fred.

We love this Tofino property. It’s perfect for our group of 6 adults. Lots of room, and so close to the beach! We had a rainy weekend so made good use of the pool table and available games. Can’t wait to come back!

Lots of space for 6 large adults. Space was warm and inviting. Hot tub and weiner roast were great options. Really was just minutes to Chesterman Beach. Hosts responded quickly. Loved it.

This house was great! It is so close to Chesterman Beach with the beach access being right at the corner. The house is spacious and comfortable, the kitchen stocked with all your needs (gas range for those who love to cook) and the bedrooms are comfortable and clean. Actually the whole place was spotless. Check-in is easy and any instructions for garbage and compost are clear. I highly recommend this VRBO.

Pacifica is a wonderful place to stay. Plenty of room for a large family to enjoy time together. The kitchen has everything you need. The beds very comfortable. The home was very clean. Great location for exploring Tofino/Ucuelet or just walking 3 minutes to the beach. Great spot!

House was spacious and served us well. Some amenities didnt work such as the tv and hot tub.
