Pa-Mountain Rental House (Wellsboro, Pa)

Had a wonderful Christmas getaway at the cabin! The host was extremely helpful and responsive. We were snowed in the whole week but the cabin was lovely and it made for a perfect trip! Would return!

The cabin was cozy, wonderfully decorated for the holidays, clean,well organized and the best host ever! There was not one thing this property lacked. My family had a wonderful 7 day stay here. We explored the area and had dinner at some wonderful places. We will definitely look forward to another stay. The only sad part of our stay was when we had to leave this wonderful cabin .

What an amazing family Thanksgiving trip to Wellsboro! Marianne is an excellent host with a beautiful home. Her home was just perfect for the 5 of us and our dog Murphy. My family and I enjoyed a lot of time together outside hiking, taking pictures, exploring the great city of Wellsboro and having bonfires during the day. The open floor setting of the home was perfect for cooking, movies and games during the cold evenings and nights. Plenty of family interaction : ) We had flurries frequently, which was wonderful for this time of year. Can't wait to return in warmer weather to explore more trails. Very clean house in a private location but only about a 10-15 minute drive to the shops and restaurants in town. The beds are comfortable although the frame of one is squeaky. Lots of sitting space both indoors and outside. Host is very responsive and goes out of her way to be really helpful. Kitchen is well equipped and has everything that you might need. Would definitely recommend.

The property was very well maintained inside and out. The photos were not deceiving. Inside was well furnished with plenty of room. The outside had deck and porch all around the house, with fire pit and an outside eating area with covering, and more.

The cabin was beautiful, clean, and spacious. There was plenty of room to relax. The beds were comfortable and the bedrooms were large. The outdoor area had a large campfire spot and a gazebo-covered dining area with fountains and a fan. The backyard was just magical at night! Cabin location was just right for us, too.

Cabin and property were beautiful. Met/exceeded our expectations. Hostess was great, very attentive. Within short drive to Pine Creek Rail Trail heads and downtown restaurants. Highly recommend.

This was our 2nd stay. Beautiful property with Marianne making sure everything is perfect!! Very quiet and private. We love this home!!

My family stayed at this beautiful home for four nights over the New Years holiday. The great room was perfect for us. We had windows on four sides to look out at the gorgeous hills and snow. We had a ton of table space for meals, puzzles and board games. The living room couches and chair were super comfortable and the warm and cozy fireplace was the icing on the cake. The kitchen was fully stocked and very easy to work around. The bedrooms were both super spacious and very comfortable, and the bathrooms were clean and very pretty. Even though it rained a lot, we had a break and used the outside firepit! And of course we visited the Grand Canyon. I would highly recommend a stay at this beautiful home. We can’t wait to go back!!!

Enjoyed our stay here with friends for Dickens Weekend. The house had all the amenities we needed and was just a short drive into Wellsboro.

Stayed here by myself and my dogs. Marianne was wondeful! She was so welcoming and I could tell right away she genuinely cared that we had a great stay. The home was stunning!!! It was so quiet and peaceful. Thabk you again.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful! The house was exactly as advertised. It was so comfortable and relaxing. The homeowner went above and beyond in providing everything you could possibly need!

We absolutely loved staying there. Or boys (two golden retrievers) ) had the best time. The porch wraps all around which I loved. We used fire pit and BBQ. Went to local parks and the Grand Canyon of PA. Lovely Mennonite store not far. Must go there! Highly recommend….

Great location to enjoy the quietness of the woods. Well equipped home. Very clean. The beds were very comfortable. Marianne was accessible and helpful throughout our trip. Many close by attractions to enjoy.

Really enjoyed staying at the Mountain House. Marianne was a great host. Peaceful surroundings and comfy beds. Close to the Pine Creek Trail. What more could you ask for?

Remote enough to satisfy the desire to get away from it all while still being close enough to everything that you may need. About 15 min from Wellsboro for groceries and restaurants. About 30 min in any direction from lots of hiking trails. Also about a 30 min drive to access points for the pine creek rail trail for biking. House itself has a big open floor plan on the main floor and comes stocked with everything you need. There is a wrap around deck for grilling and relaxing. Communication with the owner was very easy. No issues whatsoever. Highly recommended.
