Stayed Jun 9, 2026Travelers should be aware that this is a duplex, not a house. Don't believe the key instructions for entry. The place was locked when we arrived. The owner did not reply to our text, so we had to use the lock code to enter. That wasn't a big issue once I found the code on the Vrbo website. Otherwise, the unit was very clean and quiet. We enjoyed the mamma moose and calf in the front yard.

Stayed Jun 1, 2026The apartment is part of an innovative two-unit home built from shipping containers. It is lavishly furnished and beautifully decorated, and was very comfortable. There were some minor design oversights, like installing the microwave too high; but we would happily stay there again. Nice, quiet neighborhood, too.

Stayed Jul 21, 2024Our family visits Homer at least once every summer. This is our first time staying at the Oyster Lady’s Beach house. We loved this property. The location coulodn't be better. It is conveniently located close to downtown, the spit and the beach yet has a quiet peaceful setting. We had sandhill cranes land in the yard as well as a moose and two calves laying in the yard while we were there. They did an amazing job of creating a unique property using shipping containers and lots of windows. We loved everything about it and intend to return whenever we visit Homer again. Clean, convenient, cool, quiet, perfect!
