Outdoor La Jolla Living At Its Finest!!

We had a great stay here! Loved the outdoor space and easy walk to the beach.

We loved staying here. My kids and dogs were in heaven. Great yard… close to the beach and walking distance to restaurants. We would definitely stay here again!

Great location and great amenities. I loved the dining window to outside as well as the outdoor space. The noise machines do a very good job drowning out any outside noise.

The cottage was immaculate and everything was perfectly functioning.

The house was spotless and the kitchen had everything you could possible need. The host communication was excellent and everything went very smoothly. Plenty of seating outside to enjoy the January sunshine. So close to the beach that our day started with a lovely walk enjoying the area. Thank you again.

This place has everything I was looking for: a Firm Mattress, good internet, clean and well-maintained, good water pressure with plenty of hot water, and a great neighborhood. I was traveling for work, and plan to be back in the area frequently. I will rebook here whenever I find it available.

Great stay, nice property, huge patio area, a few blocks from the beach. Around a 15 minute walk to downtown La Jolla. Would come back. A small problem arose and it was resolved extremely well, we were impressed. It’s on one of the main roads through La Jolla, so there is traffic out front, but if you like to keep the windows open, the owner provided noise machines-which worked great for us. Secondary pull out bed worked super well for our third guest. Private laundry is super handy. Kitchen is beautiful. Love the indoor/outdoor interface set up, which is what I love about coastal Southern California so it was great to be able to enjoy it fully. It has all you need in an ideal location! And, communication with the owner and manager when needed was stellar. I’m impressed.

Overall, our stay was disappointing. The good: convenient location close to beach, shopping and restaurants. Pretty area.The not so good: The seat cushions of the outdoor furniture were not clean. The grill was not clean and appeared to be in disrepair. The bedroom TV did not work.

Hosts were very very welcoming. Check- in was very easy. This property is very high end everything was tasteful all of the kitchen appliances and laundry facilities were wonderful, we lacked for nothing. We loved the yard, the pup loved the secure yard and met many neighbors and their dogs. I neighborhood was wonderful and everyone we talked to were friendly and proud of their community.Bottom line is we will be returning for many more vacations. Sorry no pictures, we just don’t take a lot of photos.

This property went beyond our expectations! The outdoor patio was so nice to relax on anytime of day or night. Very walkable neighborhood close to everything. We can’t wait to stay here again. Oh, and I never leave review but this property deserves one.

We loved our stay here. Great little cottage close to the beach and need a few restaurants. Comfy beds and nice kitchen fully stocked with all cooking items. Second room had a murphy bed and can slide dining room table out to the way. We loved that the place came with parking in the driveway as well as beach stuff like towels,chairs and umbrellas! Would recommend for a couple getaway or small family.

We loved our 4 night stay at this cottage! It was immaculately clean and designed smartly. They made efficient use of the space and it was perfect for our family of 3. My daughter enjoyed the murphy bed and the cantina window! The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed. The welcomeBottle of rosé was a nice touch! Beautifully kept grounds. Location was pretty convenient and while there was some noise from the main road, it was pretty quiet at night. I would highly recommend this rental if you’re a couple or small family looking for somewhere to stay in La Jolla!

The cottage was wonderful! We really enjoyed the location. We were able to walk to breakfast and dinner fun spots! The best was the beach was only a few blocks away was spectacular We will be back! Susan and Bob

La Jolla was a great getaway. The weather was perfect, so much to do and good places to eat. This property was the perfect place to stay to enjoy it all. I am already planning on booking my next stay!

My mom, 9 year old daughter and I stayed here for a long weekend. It was small but with good use of the space. Yard was fenced in, well-manicured, and patio furniture clean to use outdoor space comfortably.

We enjoyed a wonderful stay at Kayadon Cottage. The location was perfect, only a couple blocks from Windansea Beach, and a short walk to Pearl St. There was some occasional road noise on La Jolla Blvd, but we slept fine using a sound machine (and I am a very light sleeper). The kitchen and bathrooms were very clean and had everything we needed. The property manager was able to let us check in a few hours early, which was much appreciated. The patio was spacious, charming, and well-kept, and we loved the kitchen windows that opened to let fresh air in. Only minor complaints were the mattress was a bit stiff, and there was very limited counter space in the bathroom. Everything else was wonderful, and all of the instructions from the property manager were very clear. Overall, the cottage was very comfortable and in good condition. If we return to La Jolla, we will be sure to stay there again!

This cottage is an excellent place to explore the sights of San Diego and the beautiful beaches of La Jolla. Fun restaurants, shops, and coffee spots are within walking distance, and the owners are very communicative. I highly recommend it!

Description is accurate. The outdoor space really does add to the whole vibe. Indoor is comfortable with a very well equipped kitchen. Check in process was seamless and excellent communication with property manager.

We had a great stay here! The place is very cute with lots of amenities including a fully stocked kitchen, dining area, streaming on TV, cozy outdoor space with a grill, boogie boards, chairs, umbrellas and beach toys for kids, and cruiser bikes. There were curling fans and sure conditioning. There was one bedroom and a Murphy bed. The location is great! It's only a few blocks from Windandsea Beach(which is awesome), it's near grocery stores, coffee shops, and several good restaurants. We would love to stay here again!
