Outdoor Enthusiast's Paradise - Mountainside Cabin

Such a wonderful cabin! They had an inviting winter scene on the tv with music playing when we arrived. Cabin was clean with plenty of towels. Spa was heated as well. Enough kitchen towels and dishware for everyone. We really liked the quiet neighborhood too. A plus was the games and puzzles.

We loved our stay and the home! Our children had a blast and loved exploring all the trails close by

There were seven of us, from 14 years old to 79, and the space worked well. It was clean and there were good spaces for people to be either together or have time by themselves. Having three bathrooms was perfect for our group. The hot tub was a nice feature. We also enjoyed the front and back patios. The spaces were comfortable and I loved being able to be outside or inside. We hosted a dinner outside one evening, which was lovely with the lights. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking and preparing meals.We enjoyed completing several puzzles and playing some games. It was great to have them available to use.It was just a few minutes drive to town. We would stay here again, given the opportunity. Although we may only stay with up to six people, since the seventh person ended up sleeping on the couch in the living room. It would be great if the little room off of the living room had a pull out couch for one or two people because it could be used as another sleeping room with a bit more privacy than the living room. Overall, we were very pleased with our stay. Just a heads up that there does not seem to be central air. The week we went, the temperature during the day was in the low 80s, and there were some days when it was a bit warm until we could open up the house around dusk. There were two portable air conditioners upstairs- one for each side, which helped. If it had been any warmer, we would definitely have wanted a place with central air to be more comfortable.

Everything was wonderful

We had an amazing trip and the house was described accurately. We felt like we had plenty of room to spread out as a family of 6. The only downside was we were told to put all of our foods including pantry items into the fridge to avoid four legged critters. We ended up having a spotting of such critter despite keeping everything in the fridge. The managers were very responsive and set mouse traps up and we never saw the furry fellow again after our first night. Even with that sighting, we still really enjoyed ourselves and will go down as one of our favorite family vacations!

We loved the home layout which had spacious rooms! We had a great stay. Our only issue is we had an unwanted four legged friend that caused a little unwanted excitement for us. Vacasa got someone out to put out traps and we only saw it the first night of our stay. We loved the location, the hot tub was great, and Idyllwild was only about a 10 minute drive away. There was a convenience store at a gas station that was less than a mile away. Overall we had so much fun.

The house is nice! Plenty of room for everyone! There are stairs to every bedroom though!!
