Out of the Blue - Luxury 5500 sq ft home on North Beach

When I seen this listing, I thought it was a little pricey. I was looking for a house large enough to accommodate 10 adults and two children. I also wanted it near the beach. This home is absolutely beautiful, and It easily accommodated us. It was large enough that we all had our space and privacy. The view was breathtaking! It’s fully stocked with everything you need. Beach chairs, umbrellas, surfboards, beach toys, beach towels, games, popcorn machine, etc…Gibby was amazing and made us feel welcomed. It’s obvious that he loves what he does. The home owner Anne was very accommodating, welcoming and sweet. They were both available 24/7, which put me at ease.The beach is walkable, literally around the corner. I highly highly recommend this house. You will not be disappointed. It’s worth every penny!!!Zahia H

Absolutely gorgeous and spotless home. The attention and thoughtfulness put in to the details of everything from furnishings and decorating to vacation rental necessities and comforts went well above and beyond what we expected. Something for everyone and then some! We couldn’t have asked for a better place for our big family vacation. Stunning lake views, multiple comfortable gathering areas both inside and out on the decks - and an easy walk to the beach and downtown. We lucked out with wonderful weather, but even if we hadn’t, there is plenty to do on site. With the “gaming garage”, multiple indoor gathering areas and huge TVs, a playroom area on the top level with a pool table as well as tons of board games, coloring supplies for the kids and a huge round game table, no doubt we would’ve all had a lovely time together no matter the weather. Anne and her team are wonderful to work with. We were warmly greeted by Minnie upon arrival and had timely communication throughout both the trip planning process and our stay. If we ever stay in downtown South Haven again, I couldn’t imagine staying anywhere else! Just a truly special place where we all enjoyed a vacation we will never forget.

Very clean, beautiful home. Anne and Gibby were very welcoming. Gibby took us through every room and explained to us how everything worked. We are planning our next stay. We will definitely be back. Perfect week.

The property was as advertised. Fully equipped kitchen and plenty of beach chairs, umbrellas. Beds were comfortable, bath rooms were great. If we visit the area again this is the place we will stay.

We were gathering with a group of lifelong friends for a vacation reunion. The house was perfect. Tons of room with many bedrooms and bathrooms. 3 floors with many lounge areas, large TV’s, pool table…. the list goes on. The house was well stocked with many extras that you don’t find in other VRBO homes. Coffee, snacks, games, etc. Everything was well planned. The homeowner, Anne, and the local manager, Gibby, were extremely helpful. We will be back!

House is very nice, very clean, and has fantastic views of Lake Michigan from the decks. Great place for a week long or weekend getaway. House is like 100 feet from the beach so you can’t beat it and its location to town is super close. I would definitely stay here again.

My family and I had the most amazing stay at Out of the Blue. It was by far the nicest vrbo we have ever stayed in. The home itself is absolutely stunning with 360 degree views from the top 2 floors. We ended up having rain for part of our visit, but were completely fine hanging out inside the gorgeous home. The kitchen is updated and stocked with everything you need to eat in. Every bedroom is spacious and has a tv. We loved that the beds were all king sized as well. We had my 5 month old and 3 year old with us and loved how much space we had to spread out. The beach is super close and easy to walk to while carrying kids/beach supplies. We also walked to Captain Lou’s for lunch which was easy to get to as well. The host was very kind and extremely responsive and helpful. We will definitely be back!

We go to South Haven every year for Labor Day weekend and this is without a doubt the best house on North beach. It’s the best location with everything walkable and right near the beach, the interior is really beautifully done and there are tons of activities to do if you stay home for the night with the pool table and board games. Additionally the amenities were all provided for with shampoo/conditioner/towels etc in each bathroom and there were plenty of beach chairs, towels and even a cooler ready to go for the beach. I would give this listing more than 5 stars if I could.
