Our favorite house on Lake Murray with private dock in quiet cove, sleeps 8..

The house was ready for us and provided everything we needed! Great location too!

We booked this home last minute due to a family funeral. The location was excellent, close to our family home and church, which was very important to us.Positives: The house is cozy, very clean, and nicely decorated. The bedding was extremely comfortable, and the hosts provided thoughtful starter items such as bottled water, coffee, and tea.Negatives: There is no walkway from the driveway to the entrance, requiring guests to walk through grass, which made loading/unloading and accessing the car in bad weather inconvenient and unsafe. The fireplace did not work, and the kitchen lacked a blender.More concerning was the owner’s lack of professionalism. Instead of communicating through the VRBO app, the owner called me directly on my personal cell phone Saturday morning and made accusations that were later proven to be incorrect. Rather than asking questions, he rushed to judgment, shared unrelated negative stories about other guests, and was confrontational.After multiple communications, and only after I cited the applicable law and VRBO confirmed it, the owner acknowledged his error and canceled the additional charges he attempted to impose. Despite this, no apology was offered for the incorrect accusations, intrusive phone call, repeated emails, or added stress during an already difficult weekend.While the home itself is clean and comfortable, guests should be aware of the lack of professionalism, accountability, and attentiveness to the guest experience.

Absolutely amazing place! Waking up on the water to enjoy a cup a coffee and see the geese was just what our soul needed.

Perfect spot for our family of six. Plenty of room and an ideal setting on the lake. Two of our days were rainy days but there was plenty of room inside and on the screened in porch to enjoy each other or be alone Molly is a great host- she communicates well, is available to help, and provides many necessities that some others do not.We highly recommend a stay at her lakeshouse.

The house was very clean,beds very comfortable, kitchen was well equiped and the back enclosed screen porch overlooking yhe lake was amazing!! We plan to definitely come back. Molly and Dwayne were awesome hosts.

Great house with awsome lake view from large screened in back porch and easy access to the big water. Gas and food are close by on the water. Best house we have rented at Lake Murray in 15 years.

This is a wonderful cottage style home, perfect for relaxing and recharging. It’s easily accessible. Also, close to restaurants by both land and water. The neighborhood is quiet and friendly. It offers a great swimming and kayaking area, plus beautiful sunsets. If you enjoy wildlife, you’ll see Canadian geese, ducks, cranes, large turtles, and even an egret while lounging on the screened porch overlooking the water. If there was a negative, it would only be lack of good access for small children to ease into the water. We will definitely return!

Absoulety loved the property. Even more beautiful once you walk in the door. Molly was awesome and got back to me on any questions I had quickly. The beds were very comfortable and the place was spotless! We loved the screened in porch. We spent the day floating by the dock and the neighbors came right over and talked to us. We rented a boat at Fifty Fifty Watersports which was just a block away and had the best time! We did not want to leave. We are already planning our vacation for next year here!

Had visited my daughter’s freshman year and came back for her graduation. This place never disappoints. Comfortably held my husband and me, parents and 2 20-somethings. Always an great stay.

This is an awesome house!!! Had no problems when we were there!!

The home was immaculately kept. It was set as if you were at luxury resort. The little bottles of water, the table display, the way the beds were made up and so many other things. After seeing where others stayed who were in town for the wedding, we absolutely had the finest accommodations of the group.

This beautiful gem was everything advertised and then some. Molly keeps her home in great condition and so welcoming. She was also easy to contact with my questions prior to arrival. We were four adults, my usband and I in the area to scope it out for potential retirement relocation. My brother-in-law and sister-in-law joined us for some much needed family time and helped us with our search. We all enjoyed the comfort of this home. Our favorite was the screened porch and table on the dock. Spent many an hour out there just enjoying the lake view and time together. Will definately seek out renting this house again when we come back to the area to continue our real estate search. Bonus was very friendly neighbors who came by to say hello and shared some SC insight and area information.

This is the best house we have rented on Lake Murray since we started vacationing there 15 years ago. When we packed up to leave, even the kids said this was the best vacation ever. I realized afterwards that the only thing that was different was the house. Large great room with screened in porch that is shaded most of the day.Great neighborhood and neighbors. We loved the plastic bumpers on the dock on the outside which made docking the boat a breeze. The host is very responsive and helpful with any questions. Great location for getting gas for the boat, going out to eat on the lake, and watching the purple martins.

We were in town for a military retirement party. The house was in a nice location. Very quiet and close to where the party was being held. The house was very comfortable. The views were beautiful! If we were to come back to this area again we would rent this house again!

We loved the screened in porch and view of the lake! So many nice touches like starter Kureg coffee cups to paper towels, toilet paper and spices. Plenty of floats to use and the cove was so quiet and peaceful. I imagine on the the weekends there is a lot of activity but our midweek stay was filled with the sounds of birds, water lapping against the dock and the neighbour's lawn mowers getting their yards ready for the weekend. We even caught a few fish off the dock. Thank you for so many thoughtful extras that made this a great stay!
