Our Family Retreat on 2.5 acres

Thank you for hosting. Only comments I would have is the upstairs shower and window cill had some bugs dead and alive in it . Window nook in living room did too. Just mention it to the cleaners to get those disposed of. And I looked into the “splinter” I mentioned yesterday, it’s actually a nail in floor that’s head is popped up. It’s straight in when you walk in door about 3/4 of the way to the first hallway ip to kitchen. Thanks again!

Nice, big house with plenty of space for all of us. Loved the big kitchen and lots of bathrooms. Only thing I would recommend is a shelf or some kind of storage in the attic bathroom.

The host did a fantastic job answering all my questions promptly prior to check in. Also taking care of a heating issue during our stay.

Convenient location and adjacent to biking and walking path. Lots of family room space and we had fun in the game room. Large yard in back. Multi levels of bedrooms and baths worked great for our group of 7. Most bathrooms have walkin tub with showers. Not my favorite. The house was missing some needed kitchen and cleaning basics. For our group it was a great fit.

The house suited our needs for a gathering of five couples for 3 nights. We liked the convenient location. Overall, I was disappointed in our stay. The cleanliness was questionable.

Great stay! House is very large, providing lots of different spaces for people to watch tv, play games, socialize, etc. outdoor space is amazing when weather is good.

Six classmates enjoyed our stay together, choosing this home over hotel options. It proved to be a great choice. All of our questions and concerns were quickly addressed to our satisfaction. Highly recommend for large families or groups of friends.

5 siblings and spouses plus our parents for their 60th anniversary for 3 nights. A very accommodating place! We brought food for most of our meals. Plenty of space to enjoy ourselves! Quiet neighborhood. I highly recommend this property!

We really liked the cabin. It's very spacious than we expected. Enough Bathrooms as well. Location and the view is great.

My family and extended family stayed here for a few days for the Iowa State fair. There were three adults and five kids and there was plenty of space for all! The kids love the upstairs room where they could hang out by themselves or game room downstairs. Two living rooms were both nice for all to relax at the end of the night. Location was in between State Fair and Jordan Creek both places we visited. Restaurants, bars and groceries are very close by! House is on busy road with entrance directly off the road so just have to be patient entering and exiting. Definitely would stay here again!! You won’t be disappointed!

For the 25th year we have brought our fantasy football league together to enjoy a fantastic weekend of fellowship and pigskin. This year we decided to head to the midwest as a rallying point. We found this property and hoped for the best in finding a place with a lot of bedrooms, bathrooms and living space. The Waterbury property checked those boxes and more. You never know what you are getting until you arrive but one step inside the house answered those questions. The house was exactly as depicted on the website though we weren't sure what that was going to be with 6 levels. But not only were we pleased beyond expectations, this is the coolest house any of us had seen in awhile. It is spacious beyond our hopes and dreams and we will definitely be returning. Do you have a big group get together coming up.....then this is your location. Book it now.
