Our Bay House-Your Home Away from Home

Edna was extremely accommodating and friendly from the moment I reserved our stay!Throughout the few days we were there, she continued to be a wonderful host! We will definitely be staying here for our future endeavors down to Maryland!

Fabulous location. Having access to the private beaches was a huge plus. Everything was well documented in advance so there were no surprises.

We had an amazing experience. The house was close to so many different things we could do. We got to enjoy kayaking, looking for sharks teeth and game nights around the dining room table. The beds were very comfortable and the hosts were very easy to communicate with.

There is a central room you enter from the front door which is a combination living room, dining room, and kitchen area. The dining room table is huge so we were able to work on craft projects and squeeze our food around it when we didn’t want to disturb what we were working on. The TV could be seen from the table if you wanted to craft while watching a movie with the group. We always had multiple activities going on simultaneously. If you wanted to get away from the noise there was a very pleasant porch with lots of seating.

We attend/participate in the Solomon's Island Dragon Boat Festival every year and look for a place nearby that allows us to relax before and after the event. This is the best place we have stayed near the festival so far! It was in a very quiet neighborhood, with very modern, clean and comfortable accommodations. Everything exceeded our expectations. the check-in and out directions were clear and easy to follow. We look forward to staying here again next year!

The property was amazing! There was plenty of space for our extensive group, it is a quiet neighborhood, with easy access to beaches at the lake and the bay/river. Also, we got greeted by wildlife almost every morning! We very much enjoyed our stay.

The place was clean and nice furnished but you should note the following: 1. Checkin was difficult 2. Communication with the owner was slow 3. There are two beds in the “master” and the headboard for one partially covers the door to the bathroom. It’s a matter of time before someone cuts their head on it. 4. The beds seem to be double mattresses on queen frame and the mattress is smaller than the bed frame you can easily bang your legs getting in and out of bed 5. The outside swing is really dirty 5. The outside in general is a bit unkept. 7 if you have kids, the yard is. It isn’t big enough for them to play outside 8. The next door neighbor is growing huge marijuana plants on his deck and he wonders around his yard (with no grass, just dirt) without a shirt and just staring at stuff (it’s creepy) 9 Why….oh why….would you put a completed puzzle on the coffee table with a note to not take apart? A….kids would I. Fact take it apart and b) it resulted in not being able to use the table. Weird. Bottom line: if you want to stay on the house and drink you ass off….its great. If you only want to sleep there and do nothing else….its great. But with the creepy neighbor, if you have kids or you want to be outside….it’s probably not the best place for you.
