OsterHaus | King Beds | Private Hot Tub | Full Kitchen

The property was very nice and clean. The hot tub was very nice as well. I would recommend getting some steps for the hot tub and the tall king size bed. Otherwise, I highly recommend staying here at the Osterhaus!!

We enjoyed our stay. However, we had to get ahold of the host, we couldn't lock the front door due to a low battery on the electronic door lock. Which delayed our plans about an hour. Also, didn't care for the front or backdoor, neither of the glass doors had covers so anyone walking by could look into the house. Otherwise, the property had everything we needed and was situated far enough from Main to be very quiet and peaceful.

Cute bungalow at a great price.

It was a great location...very close to downtown Fredericksburg. Beds were comfy and overall the home was nice. Couple of things could use improvement though. There was no dish soap in the kitchen...there was a dish drain, sponge and hand soap, but nothing to wash dishes with. Also, being that Fredericksburg is a huge wine community, you would think there would be some matching wine glasses available. There were a few wine glasses, but some plastic and nothing I would consider a traditional wine glass. There was one set of sparkling glasses that were decent. One other improvement that would make the stay nicer is the guest soap in the bathroom they leave for the shower is a very small piece of soap and not easy to use when showering due to its size!

Our start was a little bumpy with the Keurig popping the GFI breaker and the hot tub being very nasty but we enjoyed our stay. The backyard was very pretty and the rockers on the front porch made a great place to have coffee. The beds were very pretty and comfy as was the living room furniture. We didn't cook but kitchen was stocked well with needed supplies. Filled ice trays would have been nice upon arrival but we just filled them and had ice the next morning. As a side note, I love cats but the visiting black cat was the most annoying thing ever with constant meowing any time we were outside.

Osterhouse was the perfect getaway. The house was quaint, clean and in a convenient location. The resident black cat was the perfect butler. We would definitely recommend it.

Super cute house. Loved the extra bonuses: fire pit, rocking chairs and hot tub. Living room was so cozy with lots of pillows and blankets. The beds were comfortable. Only thing I would change is water pressure in the shower. Thanks so much for sharing your house.

Hot tub was wonderful, house was clean and well equipped, the king sized beds were comfortable.Only draw back was the equipment rental business that is located 2 door downs. They rent equipment very early on weekday mornings and the back up beepers on the equipment woke us up Friday morning. Everything else was wonderful!

House is lovely. Beds are very comfortable. Only issue was the hot tub was not available to use, however I would stay again for sure.

Very Clean, perfect size for the 3 of us. Patio was great. I do recommend some lighting over by the hot tub. It was very dark in that area at night.

Perfect size bungalow for my girls trip with my mom. It’s about a 20 minute walk to Main Street so pretty close to everything. The rooms were a great size and we really enjoyed hanging out on the patio and the hot tub. Would definitely recommend this place to friends and family. Thanks for a great weekend!

Came to Fredricksburg for a minimoon/birthday weekend getaway. This house was a beautiful, cozy, well kept home with the most convenient location near Main street. Lovely retreat for a couples weekend getaway or for a smaller family or 2 couples. Nice spacious backyard and the hot tub was the cherry on top! Would definitely stay here again when we revisit Fredrickburg!

Adorable home located just blocks from main steeet. All of the comforts of home with complimentary toiletries and all the necessities for a weekend getaway. All amenities were perfectly maintained and house was clean and fresh! Will definitely go back and stay here again!

The house was perfect for our girl's getaway. Super comfortable beds! Great location, easy to get to and nicely furnished. If we'd had nicer weather we'd have used the hot tub and firepit.
