Oro Valley Retreat w/ Pool & Breathtaking Views!

Wonderful place! Very comfortable and beautiful inside and out. Nice king size bed. House is decorated very nicely as well as stocked/equipped with just about anything needed. Enjoyed easy access to the Linda Vista loop trail too.

This home is a beautiful oasis in the desert that stands out as one of the best places we have ever stayed. The view from the backyard is stunning, the house is fully equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay, and the hosts are top notch !

This was the most well-equipped rental we have stayed in, especially handy since we had flown in. The unit was sparkling clean and in a great location. The hike across the street was lovely, and a pack of coyotes crossed our path one morning. We never met in person, but the host was easy to reach and helpful.

Everything was exactly as advertised. The house was spotless clean when we arrived. So warmly decorated and comfortable. A very peaceful and quiet neighborhood. The view from the patio was perfect as the moon rose above the mountains behind us. Definitely a five star experience that we will use again whenever we are in the Tucson area.

The host was extremely welcoming and very responsive. They thought of just about everything, allowing us to simply relax and enjoy our trip. The whole stay was wonderful

This property is the nicest rental we have ever stayed in! The owners obviously take great pride in so many little touches to make it a true home away from home.The house was immaculate and beautifully decorated. The bed was super comfy. The kitchen had every utensil you would ever need. Plus extras like coffee, sugars, other miscellaneous condiments and snacks! There were extra towels and toys for the pool and hot tub. The hot tub was REALLY amazing. I loved that I could walk barefoot from the time I walked in the door to all outside areas. Sipping coffee on the patio in the cooler mornings watching the sun rise on the foothills was delightful. This property is close to so many choices for food,shopping and sightseeing. Don't pass this rental by! It is a true gem.

This property was stocked with everything you might need! The king sized bed in the master was awesome. We are definitely planning on reserving this property again. The hosts were outstanding!! Thank you Joann and Scott for your hospitality!

Host was friendly but preserved our privacy. The house is fully equipped and the outside seating abundant for finding shade from the desert sun. The view sold us on Desert living. Also close to many restaurants and activities.

Felt like we were at a resort! Everything was so beautiful, the house had a great design, and we had everything we could need. Our host was so sweet and her dog Nugget was a bonus!

Great property! Clean and welcoming, right at the base of the Catalina mountains for a spectacular view every day. The house was decorated for fall/Halloween/Dia de los Muertos, which was an unexpected special touch. Joanne was so nice, making sure we had everything we could want to make our stay perfect.

Where to begin? Pictures do not do it justice! It is an absolutely beautiful, immaculate, well equipped, spectacular views, Casita! Tastefully decorated, comfortable bed and pillows, extraordinary attention to detail. Very communicative host, safe, lovely neighborhood. Can’t wait to return!

Everything was very clean and beautiful and quiet. Loved spending time in the pool everyday! Excellent communication with host! Little Nutmeg is so sweet! One of the best hosts/experiences my well travelled daughter has stayed at. When in the area I would definitely choose to stay here again!!!!

We've stayed at a lot of VRBO properties, and this one is outstanding in terms of ...... well, everything.

My wife, and I spent nearly a week at this location. We loved it! The location was quiet and safe. We love the view at the foot of the cactus covered mountain. The house was uniquely decorated, and immaculately clean. The owners, Joann and Scott. were friendly, but not intrusive. They live on premises, and have a little dog, Nutmeg, who is part of the fun. She would come over and visit us when we were sitting out by the pool. Everything we needed, including vinegars, spices, and condiments, were all in the home for our use. I highly recommend this location for a stay in the Tucson area.

Beautiful property right off the Linda Vista trail. Location is quite and peaceful with great views of the area. Lots of outdoor seating space for relaxing and great spaces for spending time inside. The pool was a great spot to relax during hot afternoons.

We were pleasantly surprised to find the home very close to Pusch Ridge, so close we could see all of the lovely Sahuaros and rock formations. We came for our anniversary and really enjoyed the serenity of the spot, floating in the pool at night, and restful sleep in a very comfy bed. The home has everything needed, well appointed kitchen, bath, and livingroom. A very clean and well cared for property made us feel right at home in the desert! And who could say no to the very friendly dog Nutmeg who we saw the times as he came outside to say hello. Thank you for a much needed respite. Thank you for sharing your home!

Over the years I had stayed in numerous vacation rentals. This one is definitely the cream of the crop. Not only was the property, beautiful and clean, but any thing you could possibly need is provided. I have never stayed at a place where the owners paid so much attention to detail. Two of my friends came and joined me for dinner by the pool my last night there and we all marveled at the mountain scape as the sun went down. Thank you so much Joanne and Scott!

Loved it! Perfect spot. Secluded, yet centrally located to shopping. Views are amazing especially during a monsoon. It was a great mother/daughter getaway. We will be back!

Our experience at the Oro Valley Retreat was outstanding, from the amazing views outside to the cleanliness and beautiful furnishings inside, there wasn’t anything they didn’t think of! The owners are very friendly, helpful and quick to respond. I will definitely stay here again!

Everything was great only surprise was not knowing it’s a duplex with the owner on the other side. Besides that no complaints very clean and prepared, they have a sweet dog that will say hi to you in the backyard.

The house was beautifully decorated, and very clean!! We didnt have any issues. The kids absolutely loved the pool and hot tub. We would def recommend and will use again in the future!

We loved our stay. The property was great, and we took full advantage of the access to hiking trails across the street.

We were only able to reserve two weeks, but would have stayed forever if we could! The place was wall-to-wall spotless. Plenty of kitchenware, including wine glasses, storage containers for leftovers, even a Ninja air fryer. The view of the mountain over the pool had us spellbound every night. Seven busy hummingbird feeders! Convenient location, literally steps away from the Linda Vista Trail, and just a short hop to groceries and restaurants. Hosts Joanne and Scott were very welcoming and accommodating. Nutmeg was a real charmer and extremely well behaved - - - I miss her quiet visits. Would definitely stay here again!

We thoroughly enjoyed this lovely rental house during our 10 day winter escape. Joanne's thoughtfulness and precise organization of the house is amazing. It had everything a renter needed, recently renovated to high standards, and nicely decorated. The setting and outside 'rooms' are lovely, with the Santa Catalina mountains towering above the property. The pool, seating areas and landscaping are excellent and varied. We've been in many vacation rentals, this is the best.
