Stayed Aug 23, 2025The Lock Keepers Cottage aka (Kintore Cottage) is by far the best Cottage we have stayed in on our visits to the Loch Ness area, The cottage itself is very cozy and furnished to a very high standard and has everything you need to make your stay a home from home. Being on holiday apart from breakfast we ate out mostly and Fort Augustus has many eateries and there is something for all tastes, Kintore Cottage is certainly a perfect central Hub for touring the surrounding highlands. We will return.
