Great location on the lake with an amazing sunset view!

I was worried about making this review because I was afraid that more people would book this place and make it nearly impossible to place a reservation. First off, the host was very responsive and was extremely helpful. Within minutes of messaging him, we were getting accurate responses.The house is perfect and I love that upon arrival the inside temperature was cool and perfect. Really good hot water heater. Comfortable beds.Now let’s talk about what everybody really wants to know about. The water access is phenomenal. Soft bottom right from the steps out past the pier. There was actually a sandbar about 200 yards out that seemed to have a gathering of boats every day. The cove that it is in is perfect as it blocks alot of wind and keeps the water mostly calm. About 450 yards from the dock you’re actually able to tube/ski/ect.The parking was more than plenty. I have a full-size truck and a 20 foot boat (25’ from end to end). I was able to back the boat in and leave it attached to the truck and still had plenty of room in front of my truck. Not to mention, we could’ve apart two more, maybe even three more cars beside it. The overall experience was sensational, and I would recommend this to anybody

House was very well unkeep. We had to clean before we could even start our stay. Hall bathroom had pee on the back of the toilet and crumbs were in the sink in the kitchen. Beds were not properly made in bunk bed rooms. As we approached the house walking in the deck handrail was actual rotten and unsafe and looked like it had not been cleaned in months cobwebs and leaves. everywhere. But other than the cleanliness the stay was enjoyable as well as water views.

Host was extremely welcoming and polite. Absolutely beautiful property right on the water with a personal dock. We fished and had a campfire and saw more stars than we could count. Absolutely beautiful property and would recommend to anyone.

The property has potential, but our stay didn’t meet expectations. The refrigerator and bathroom were not clean, and the bed was uncomfortable. The air conditioning had a minimum of 70, which made the nights warmer than expected, and this restriction wasn’t disclosed until after payment. We were unlucky enough for a rainy stay which made the dock extremely slick. While the stay fell short in several areas, we did enjoy the view and the time spent together. We understand every stay can vary, and this was simply our experience.

Picked this location from the Pictures and reviews…was woken up to a giant rat in the kitchen the first night getting into our food on the kitchen island. We left immediately the next morning…host acted like it was our fault the rat was there and said he’s never had a rat problem, we found brand a bunch of new rat traps in a cabinet in the laundry room? We requested a full refund, only given partial ….Host said he was getting an exterminator to come look at the location…but this was after the fact..we never even got to enjoy the lake….

The lake house was amazing! Relaxing weekend getaway. Enjoyed a beautiful sunset, something worth experienceing. The house has everything you need. We got to swim and fish.

Dock and yard are amazing! It rained part of the time so would have loved a covered back patio but the sunsets were beautiful! Inside house was ok.
