Stayed May 23, 2025Positives: location close to cute town and river, pet-friendly, quiet, safe neighborhood. Easy car ride to lakes and parks. We enjoyed the farmers market and coffee shop. The rocks were great.Negatives: surprised to find the place NOT clean based on other reviews raving about the cleanliness. They was feces on the front toilet seat and smeared in the bowl, the corners of the floors and bathrooms had hairs and cobwebs in them, the shower drain had a hairball in it, several hairs in the bedsheets. Several dishes were dirty. We were only there two nights, so we did just clean up ourselves, but cleanliness is of huge importance to me when renting a place, so this was quite a turnoff. I also found it sketchy that instructions hanging on the fridge said to “NOT” strip the bedsheets. How then do we know that they get washed? The back bedroom was chilly and the beds were not comfortable (the couch served as a comfy alternative.) Other than that, the only communication we had from Ed was right after we booked with all of the information. There was no reminder to confirm and no message asking if everything was okay. I am used to more communication from the owners with those types of things. We use STRs often. If you’re not too picky about these things, you’ll probably enjoy this property.
