One of the deepest swimming holes on the Blanco River - **PRIVATE HOT TUB**

It was a beautiful, serene home. Beautiful wildlife and birds, water was excellent! Easy access, kids loved kayaking and fishing. Floating and relaxing. Will book every year!

I’ve never stayed in a VRBO that didn’t allow day visitors- we were in Wimberley to visit my parents who are in their 80s and NOTHING mentioned no day visitors in the listing until I complained about it to the property manager- then was written in CAPS of that requirement- I would never have booked there. She talked to owner who after a 3 day wait ok’d it for a day - too many rules and camera surveillance for my comfort. We were very respectful but only stayed for the 3 nights - didn’t have my parents there after all…..

We loved this property. The location was perfect and very close to Wimberley square. The house was exactly as described in the listing and in pictures. It's a little older, but great care has OBVIOUSLY been taken with it. There were lots of sweet touches and everything was super clean, as well. The river in front of the house is deep (as described). We would happily stay here again. Thank you so much!!

We stayed at this lovely place for our annual girls weekend trip. Everything looked exactly like the pictures. The owners lived next door and were very friendly. The house is a quick 7 min drive into the square area of Wimberley. We would definitely stay again!

Perfect river location even though the weather held us back from experiencing much of it. The owner was right next door for any questions we might have. Beautiful home. I will say that we had quite a bit of gnats in the kitchen, but we overcame that. It was just 3 girlfriends this trip wanting to escape normalcy and we were successful at that. I did let Gary know on our departure that the master did not cool. I’m very thankful that another bedroom had the 2 beds because the master was just too warm. I’m sure he will look Into that because he was very attentive to what was going on. Overall great time and great location.

Great location...house could use some updating particularly the appliances, based on the price per night. The view is amazing and house was very clean.

This was my first time renting a RVBO. I’m used to renting thru my time share company. With that being said, this property was almost perfect. The location and back yard are amazing. Very easy access to the river. This was a last minute vacation so I didn’t know what to expect. The house is older but well maintained. Just a few things would make it perfect. It only had a limited amount of silverware (8 salad forks), the air conditioner worked great but every time it came on it made a loud noise and would wake you. Never did figure out where all the light switches were! Also some night lights would be great in the bathrooms. All petty things but probably things the owners would like to know. The property manager did not return messages I sent through the VRBO message feature. I would have given this property a 5 star except for that.

5 of us met for a weekend girls trip and the accommodations and property as a whole were amazing. Sweet touches like fresh flowers in a bathroom and cinnamon rolls in the fridge too. The river is perfect here, nice for a tube. I had trouble climbing down to the water, but that's my bad legs' fault. We all loved jt and will be back.
