One Block Walk to Old Town - Historical Bungalow

It was the cutest little house and we could walk to everything. A great place to stay to not be in the hustle and bustle of Sedona. You could easily drive there, but stay out of the crowds. Would rent again. Love, love, loved it!

The property is very nicely done. Love the showers! You can walk just a few short minutes to old downtown to eat and shop. We loved our stay here!

Great remodel, large bedrooms and bathrooms. Everything you need and love that it was walking distance to downtown. Can't wait to come back!

This property was great for our weekend getaway. Our place was spotless and we loved the comfy king sized bed and huge shower. We will definitely stay here again. The location is perfect and so close you can drop off purchases made while shopping and head back out easily. Although we didn’t cook, the kitchen was well appointed. There are no screens on the windows, so we didn’t feel comfortable sleeping with the windows open but it didn’t matter due to the AC in the room that worked perfectly.

This house was great and exactly as described. It was very clean and nicely decorated. The location was great. It was only a short walk to old town Cottonwood. The bed was very comfortable too. We slept great!

The home is very nice, comfortable and quiet. There was a coffee pot, pots and pans, a little bit of everything in the kitchen really! Plenty of towels, pillows, etc. We had great Communication with the homeowners! We would definitely recommend!!

We had an amazing stay! The house was clean, comfortable, and located in such a central area that we walked most of the weekend. We also loved the history of the house and pride the owners showed in everything from the Welcome booklet to the finishes itself. Would definitely stay here again. Cottonwood is such a great little town.

Steve and Denise are super host and Steve explained all the history of the bungalow and other rentals on the same property along with the history of the horse trough, the adobe building and the basement which may have had a tunnel or room that was used during Prohibition!! The bungalow was nicely decorated, cozy and clean!! For those out there that are sensitive to scented products, laundry detergents and air fresheners, they do not use any in their rentals which was a huge plus for me!! We definitely would stay at their place again!!

Clean, comfortable, and convenient place to stay for visiting Cottonwood and the surrounding area. We enjoyed being able to walk to restaurant, shops, and tasting rooms in Cottonwood, and we loved reading about the history of the house in book provided by the hosts. Hosts were very responsive. Would stay again.

Exceptional stay at this bungalow home. Never moved the car for our weekend stay in Old Town Cottonwood. The home had everything we needed for comfort and relaxation. Ideal for checking out what Main St has to offer and had a great stay. Thanks to the hosts as well for excellent communication and hospitality. Will be back.

There was an event that weekend and the hosts blocked off a spot in front of the house for parking for us. They were quick to respond. The house was beautiful and we’re already looking forward to our stay in the future!

Exceptionally clean. Very comfortable beds. Nice linens. Porch had basket of blankets to enjoy chairs and swing on cool evening. Well stocked kitchen.Loved the coffee table book with interesting facts about the property and suggestions on places to visit.

This is the second time we've booked this property, and we enjoyed both visits very much. The hosts are communicative, property is clean, and is walking distance to downtown and trail.

This property is in the heart of everything Cottonwood has to offer! Very short walk to all shops in old town. Excellent price for the accommodations. The hosts, Steve and Denise were very courteous and helpful. We changed plans very last minute, and wanted to show up a day early. Steve was very prompt with booking us a 2nd location for the first night. The property and the home are extremely well kept, and they showcase tons of the history about the home. We will surely return to stay here again, and I would highly recommend anybody to stay here as well.

Property was completely remodeled, clean and comfortable. Short walk to Main Street where all the restaurants and shops were located. The hosts proactively provided all of the information needed.

The house was very clean upon arrival. The renovation of this historical home is amazing. The first thing noticed was the beautiful hardwood floors. The owners provide a wealth of information about the history of the house and the surrounding property. If we return to Cottonwood in the future we will book this home again.

Upon arrival my husband and I were so pleased.. The accommodations were top notch. Clean, well appointed and welcoming. We would recommend The Ford house and will be back. Thank you to our hosts for the unexpected early check in available to us , We really appreciated that extra time,

We loved this little house, its super cute and had everything we needed for a weekend stay. We were celebrating our anniversary and it was perfect for what we were looking for. It was also super close to downtown Cottonwood, literally steps away to restaurants and wineries. Communication with the owners was great, too (although we didn't need much). The only thing that we noticed was a strange smell, on occasion in the bedroom. We think it might have been associated with the air conditioner as we only noticed every once in awhile or maybe the outside garbage can was nearby. It didn't take away from our experience, just something we noticed. I would definitely stay here again if we head back to Cottonwood.

Just a quick getaway to explore the area. The house was just a quick walk to town. The Train thru Verde Canyon was fabulous. The house was very clean and well stocked with towels, cookware, etc. I did hear some footsteps and voices, realized there was someone staying in a connected back room & they parked next to our bedroom window. I.

The property was great, the home was just as expected, and everything in Old Town was just a short walk away!

We stayed here with the property owners for the second time this year. This entire property is so well-kept and managed! We forgot an item and contacted the owners. For a nominal fee, we were able to recover our forgotten items! Thank you for a wonderful stay! and a great place to stay to go on the Verde Canyon Train!

Enjoyed our stay in Cottonwood and the house was very nice. Perfect for a couple looking to get away and enjoy the entire Sedona area. Excellent restaurants, hiking, and touristy stuff.

Great remodel on an old home near old town Cottonwood. Very neat and clean in a quiet neighborhood with a really short walk to old town. We definitely recommend it's really worth it.

Everything was spotless. Parking was easy and well marked. Fire pit area was very cozy. There were no other guests there so we had it to ourselves. We would stay there again!

We were walking distance to amazing restaurants as well as the verde river and trails. The home was clean and cozy. Bed was very comfortable and there was everything we needed in the home. I was traveling alone and I felt safe at the Ford House. The history of the house was interesting; enjoyed the pics and stories in the welcome notebook. Bed was comfortable, over sized shower was fantastic and the house was immaciulate. Short walk around the corner to Old Town Cottonwood. Nice central location to visit the surrounding areas and still be back before dark.

This property deserves every bit of its 5-star rating! Its comfortable, clean and close to great restaurants, shopping, hiking. The personal touches and history of the house were outstanding! Having said that, I probably would not stay here again, unless I was renting all 4 units on the compound. We were alone during our stay, so it was a non-issue, but we didn't expect the outdoor spaces to be shared between 4 units, specifically, the fire pit. If you like the prospect of meeting other couples during your stay, you'll appreciate this property! (Its not my jam, but there are plenty of people who love that. I just wish it had been disclosed a little more predominately.) Overall, we had a great time and enjoyed the craftmanship and care taken by the owners! Well done!

This home was immaculate! Beautifully decorated, very clean, and exactly as shown online. Check-in was easy and the owner was very attentive & responsive. I would definitely recommend.

We went for a weekend getaway. The house was so cute and decorated well. Everything down to the shampoo, creme for your coffee, blankets for outside was available and convenient. Loved the swing and rocking chairs. Bathroom shower was large, clean and bright white. Even had robes. Set off smoke detector when I was cooking. No fan in the kitchen or on the oven. Only downside. So close to shopping and good restaurants. Walked everywhere.

From the moment you drive up to the property. One gets the feel of a comfy and cute accommodation. Very clean and the hosts provide all that one needs for an enjoyable stay. The location is perfect walking distance to Old Town. We were so blessed to have met the hosts. We will return.

The Ford House was the perfect place to stay for our visit to Cottonwood and the surrounding area. It is comfortable, quiet, and an easy walk to historic Main Street. The kitchen has everything you need, and onsite laundry very convenient after a trip on the Verde River. The historic photos and memorabilia make it an extra special place!

We had a fantastic time swinging on the front porch swing. The bed was comfortable, the shower was hot, and we definitely will stay here again in this cute historic home.
