One block to the beach! 5 Rose Garden

We would stay here again as the location is great. The house was ready, but you can tell the cleaners probably do a swift clean of the toilets and not much else. We ended up sanitizing the essential areas on our own on arrival just to be sure. The check in process at the management company’s building was quick, but it would have been much more convenient to be able to access the property with a digital code without having to drive out of the way.

We went to Lewes Beach for a weekend getaway to celebrate my husbands birthday. We liked the location. It was convenient to the beach and the shops. This rental was clean and had everything we needed. We would stay here again.

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Had a used bandaid in my bed. Dirty dishes in the dishwasher, and somebody's swim trunks were left out back.

We’ve been coming to Lewes as a family for about 15 years. This was another memorable vacation and staying in unit #5 felt like home! We’re likely to stay again next year.

Will book again. Sort walk to the beach, longer walk to town. Happy to have a spot to bring our dogs with us.

The place was lovely, with a great location and a good kitchen and dining space. The king bed wasn't fabulous but the other beds were comfortable. Unfortunately we immediately lost use of one shower due to a huge leak which meant we all had to share the other one. I don't feel the compensation was appropriate, especially since the owner apparently knew of the problem ahead of time. The rental agent was great to work with.

On Monday the step in shower pipes broke and water dripped through the ceiling in the powder room below causing part of the dry wall to fall onto the floor. My friends were unable to used their shower for the rest of the week. It was difficult for my one handicapped friend to used the tub shower. One reason why I chose this property was because it had a walk in shower. I was compensated 20% of the rental portion for my inconvenience. However, I don't feel that this was enough. Furthermore, the floors were very dirty. They're were two dust bunnies on the floor in the master bedroom, thick dust under the bench at the bottom of the king bed, a lot of dust behind the living room recliner. Finally, the slip covers on the couch were very messy and stained. The king mattress was too soft causing me not to sleep well.
