Wonderful cozy home with a professional and communicative host. Loved all the small touches around the house and the well equipped kitchen. The back deck and fire circle were quiet and a great way to unwind at the end of the day.

I rate our stay a 10! The hospitality, amenities, decor, and peaceful space are perfect. The hostess answered questions responsively, and it was great to have our own place for meals and to relax in the evening. The House on the Trail was a big factor in making our Spring break ski getaway a win.

Everything was great! Perfect location to stay when snowmobiling in the Ironwood area.

House is so warm and welcoming! Everything you need and the host is absolutely amazing. We had 30inches of snow and she made sure we were plowed out. Super easy to communicate with. This is our 2nd stay and won’t be our last.

Cute and very comfy house. Very clear that every detail/need had been anticipated thoughtfully. The wine/coffee/tea/hot cocoa was a big hit with our family. My son had forgot his toothbrush and even that was anticipated and we easily found a pack of new toothbrushes under the bathroom sink. Love this place.

They have thought of everything and provided it for you in this cozy space, full of character and fun details. Communication was excellent, driveway was plowed right away through two days of blizzard, sauna/shower such a luxury, the location is excellent for accessing all of the nearby adventures. We will stay again.

Maria's house is well furnished, clean, and comfortable. She was great with communication. Her attention to detail is amazing, from the decor to the amenities. The kitchen is well-equipped. The beds are comfortable. The sauna is an extra perk. If you are looking for a vacation stay that feels somewhere between the comforts of home and a peaceful oasis, this is it.

This was our second stay. We came to cross country ski and the home is close to many trails. The home is cute, cozy and very clean. We especially enjoyed the sauna and coffee bar after a day on the trails. The host was easy to communicate with and the check in went smoothly. We would come back again.

We came up to the area to take my daughter skiing. This house is nice and close to Powderhorn! We were close to some great places to eat as well. The house was super clean and decorated so nicely!! The sauna was great after a cold day outside. We are already talking about when we can come back and will definitely stay here again!!

The house was a convenient base for exploring area cross country ski trails. The house was clean and cozy. We enjoyed using the sauna after spending all day outside. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking yummy meals.

The house is in a great location for skiing at ABR and Wolverine ski trails. The kitchen has everything you need and there are many great restaurants in the area. Beds are super comfortable and the house is always clean. Michelle is a great host.

My family of four and I were looking for a place to stay for our UTV trip and this was the perfect spot! The location is excellent for easy trail access, yet it’s still a very quiet neighborhood. It’s also close to restaurants or places you’d need to go in town. The home was so clean and very tastefully decorated and remodeled. We just loved it! The vintage stereo/record player and the sauna were awesome perks. They have everything we needed for our stay. Melissa was very communicative and helpful. We would love to stay here again and I truly hope we do, as we love riding the trails in this area. I can’t thank you enough for letting us stay in your beautiful home, Melissa. It was so lovely!

What a little gem this house is. The perfect size for two people, a pup, and visiting friends. The house is located close to the Iron Belle Trail, where we road our bikes into town or to the local gym. The house is cozy and smartly decorated. The host was incredibly responsive and kind. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to explore the western U.P. and Ironwood!
