Stayed Feb 11, 2026This was our second stay here, and just like the first everything was perfect. The home is very nicely equipped with everything we needed for our getaway. Kitchen well stocked, soaps, linens, everything one would need. Home was very clean upon our arrival, and the host even reached out when the weather shifted causing us to change our activity plans. How nice!

Stayed Jan 26, 2026Lovely and inviting home to rest up at after my days of winter adventures. I stayed when it was single digits and I was able to stay warm with the extra blankets on the bed. The kitchen is well stocked all around with additional cooktop appliances in the kitchen closet. The board game variety was a touch that my nephews and nieces would enjoy one day too. The house is located on a quiet street with little car traffic and no snowmobile traffic.

Stayed Oct 4, 2024We loved how comfortable and well stocked the house was. Great location for what we wanted to do - hike to waterfalls and scenic vistas, see Northern Lights along Lake Superior, tour Stormy Kromer factory, and eat out.

Stayed Jul 18, 2024What a lovely home... clean and walking distance to the town. We stayed during Festival Ironwood and had such a lovely time! It's a quick trip to th Porcupine Mountains and Lake Superior. I'm booking this property for next July! The kitchen is fully stocked. You can cook anything because it has every pot/pan... everything! Also.. I really appreciated the coffee bar. They had ground beans and Kuerig pods. Thank you hosts for a lovely stay.... and I'll be back in July 2025!

Stayed Jun 15, 2024House was as advertised. Clean, close to downtown, and just a few blocks off of highway. Neighborhood was quiet. We didn’t get a chance to cook there but the kitchen was well stocked with spices and cookware. It was great to have coffee, cocoa, a few breakfast bars, and popcorn to use. Bathrooms had shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Beds and pillows were comfortable. It was great having a washer and dryer there too as we did use those after spending the days cleaning out a dusty storage shed. I would highly recommend this as a place to stay. It was very welcoming and looked to be recently renovated. When in town try Rigoni’s (or Joe’s) pasties, the Bell Chalet (south of Hurley), the Iron Nugget, or the Kimball Inn (west of Hurley). We didn’t get a chance to hike the Black River falls as it poured rain the day we were going to do that but we did get to hangout out at Lake Superior briefly. Our stay was quick and busy so it was very nice to have this house to come back to at night!
