On the Rocks Overlooking the Sea

Perfect for our stay. Kitchen was well stocked. Beds were very comfortable. Clean. Great views from the property. Easy walk to restaurants, dinner theatre (which we really loved). Beautiful location to explore the area.

Loved this home! The owner was in communication with me, provided lots of great information, and the space was more than we expected. Beautiful, clean, spacious, lovingly decorated with some east coast culture. Highly highly recommend!

Two minor issues - as hsrd as we tried, we could not get the TV to work. And the second bathroom was in the basement which was basically inaccessible to anyone taller than 5 feet. Apart from that, its a nice property in a great location.

The house sits up a hill and offers a stunning view of the harbour. As well, you can go up the hill behind the house for gorgeous sunset views! We were only there one night for this trip but could have stayed there much longer. The house is clean, roomy and well-appointed. We loved that we could walk to several great restaurants and shops that were part of a welcome package we received as part of our booking. It was very helpful and informative on things to do in the area. We booked our iceberg tour through their recommendation and loved it...

Great views of Twillingate. Easy access to restaurants and iceberg tours. The house was very clean and had local art work. Near a nice hiking trail to the cross monument to town members lost at sea. Lovely flowers around the yard in summer.

This is a great property.

Fantastic house for the five of us adults. Well appointed kitchen, great views out the front window, comfortable beds, even a nice hike up the hill with even broader view of town and coastline. Very enjoyable town to stay in, with great hikes and evening entertainment.

Fantastic place to stay.

A wonderful stay for a wedding weekend with friends! House is fully equipped with anything you may need for a stay. The house is beautiful, as well as the view. Would recommend this stay for anyone. The only downside is that the basement is infested with carpenter bugs, so none of us felt comfortable using the shower. Besides this the house is incredibly clean!

It’s the carpenters bugs that surprised us and there was many. My wife even found one in the bed. For the rest everything was excellent.

What an awesome property! Beautiful views of the Twillingate Harbour and we enjoyed a small hike up the hill to watch the sunset. We could also see a small iceberg in the distance. Made our trip! Thank you!

We really enjoyed staying in this home while visiting Twillingate. It offered a wonderful view of the town and harbour. it was very well kept and comfortable. Since my wife and I were travelling with two friends they each had their own bedroom and there were two bathrooms, which made morning preparation before our boat excursion possible.

Best location with stunning views. Everything is within walking distance. Clean and comfortable, by far the best place we stayed at in Newfoundland. Would recommend staying here to friends.

Communication with the host was great from time of booking and throughout our stay. House is in a great central location. Beds are comfortable. Living room is cozy with a nice view. Sitting outside in the chairs on a hot day with the view is also really nice. This house has everything you will need for your stay!

Our host was so easy to communicate with, answered all our questions, and was so helpful. The house is exactly as advertised … the views were spectacular! We had a great stay at this property. The house was very clean and well-stocked with kitchen items. We enjoyed drinking our morning tea and eating breakfast outside while overlooking the bay. The location was perfect for us for our day trips exploring the area.

We loved staying in Marie's cozy, full-equipped rental. It had amazing views, and her communication was excellent. She thought of everything to ensure we had a relaxing stay in Twillingate. Would definitely recommend!
