On the Rocks - A Wine Country Wonder!

We were very happy with our stay on on the rocks. It is in a great location with a beautiful water view of Seneca Lake. The house is totally redone, cute and comfortable. The kitchen was great and well equipped. The bed could us a topper (a little hard) but we slept well. Wine country is all around, Watkins Glen is nearby...we went to the races. I would highly recommend this vacation property.

Loved the panaoramic views, quiet location, and central position to many of the things we like to do in and around Seneca and Cayuga Lakes, Geneva and Watkins Glen. We appreciated the ability to bring both our dogs to join us on vacation. The owners were extremely accommodating and responsive to questions/needs during the course of our stay. Would definitely recommend!

Property was clean and as described. Pretty waterfall was a short walk away. Beds were very firm so if you like a softer mattress, bring a mattress pad with you.

This was our second time staying at this property. It is just the right size and the location cannot be beat!

Great spot for a long weekend stay. Very clean and modern. Off the main road of Seneca lake but short drive to all the wineries and breweries.

The neighbors were very friendly, easy access to lake, kids (9 and 10) explored the surroundings all weekend, parents favorite spot was am coffee on the front deck looking at the lake. We will be back.

The small house was very clean, modestly furnished, but updated. Big enough for two couples or a small family. We had access to the lake right in front and swam every day. Next time I would bring water shoes since it's all rocks. The caretaker of the property was super friendly and helpful. Small wishlist: a few regular sized drinking glasses, and a small table on the porch for drinks or a snack while sitting outside

Deadly algea in lakes, authorities told us not to use lake. Company would not give refund but offered to relist property then raised price almost $100 practically assuring that it would not resell. We went to property and it was cluttered outside with vehicles and equip never went in. WOULD NOT USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN.

A perfect little cottage in the perfect spot to watch the sunset on Seneca Lake. Good proximity to shopping and eating in Watkins Glen and great wineries. We will be back.

This house was perfect for our family! House was so clean and had everything you could think to need. Conveniently located, laundry was handy, and the cool AC felt nice.

The house was very nice and met our needs. Everything was very clean, and the property company even provided a little goody bag upon arrival with some extras and little gift bags for our dogs. The property manager is readily available because he lives very close-by. The house is right on the lake, and the road along the lake is very flat, making it very nice for morning and evening walks. On the downside, the photos didn't really convey that the house is directly in front of a series of camping RVs, so the house wasn't nearly as private as we anticipated. We were traveling with our dogs, and every time someone walked by the front of the house, they were barking. We may not have booked had we known this were the set up. Of all the VRBOs I have stayed at, this one was least equipped with cleaning supplies. I like to do a thorough clean before leaving, as one of my dogs sheds a lot. I needed to purchase a broom so that I could sweep the floor. It's also important to note there was not a dishwasher. This wasn't a big deal for my family, but I know it matters to some.
