Charlene’s Retreat is a thoughtfully renovated 2-bedroom home with a cool vintage vibe and modern comfort. Sleeping up to 5 guests, it features a bright open layout, enclosed sunroom, and large yard perfect for pets or boat parking. Located less than a mile from downtown Cedar Key and a half mile from the Tiki Bar, this cozy retreat is tucked into a quiet neighborhood—ideal for relaxing after a day of exploring the island.

️ Interior
Charlene’s Retreat offers a bright, cozy layout with an open floor plan and cool vibes throughout. The main bedroom features a queen bed, while the second bedroom has a full bed. Up front, the enclosed sunroom includes a twin daybed with a twin trundle, perfect for flexible sleeping arrangements or just lounging with a book.

The living area comfortably seats five with a sofa and two chairs, and the open kitchen comes fully stocked with everything you need to prepare meals. Enjoy casual dining at the four-top dining table. The bathroom includes a tub/shower combo and is easily accessible to all bedrooms.

The enclosed back porch adds bonus space to relax and unwind, and also houses the washer and dryer.

Note: This is a super cute, fully renovated manufactured home. It’s comfortable, clean, and charming—but we want to be clear about what kind of home it is so guests can book with confidence.

Exterior, Yard & Parking
Charlene’s Retreat sits on a big lot with a large grassy yard, great for pets or tossing a frisbee. Please note the yard is not fully fenced. There’s plenty of parking space for vehicles—and even room to park your boat. The home is single level, with four steps leading up to the front porch.

Listing Access
Guests have full access to the home, yard, and laundry facilities. Self check-in is available with a smart lock for convenience.

️ Neighborhood & Island Info
Charlene’s Retreat is located in a peaceful neighborhood just a block off Hwy 24 on the way into town. You’re less than a mile from the shops and restaurants of downtown Cedar Key in one direction, and just a half mile from the beloved Tiki Bar in the other. It’s a quiet and convenient base for exploring the island.

Transit
Most guests arrive by car although you can also arrive by boat or plane! Golf carts and bicycles are popular ways to get around Cedar Key and can be rented in town. There’s ample space at the home to park both cars, trailers, boats and golf carts. Note that due to the location of the property all golf carts must be street legal, other carts cannot travel on the highway.

-Please be careful where you park, don`t block people in, use neighbors property, park on the sidewalk or impede traffic
-Parties and/or events are not allowed
-No smoking inside or within 10 feet of doors or windows $250 fine if the property smells of smoke
-Unauthorized pets will result in a $250 fine for each animal
-$150/person/day fee for over occupancy limit
-Please don’t eat or drink anything besides water in the bedroom
-Quiet hours 10 pm to 7 am per local Noise Ordinance
-Please respect the check-in and check-out times. $500 for each 4 hours, or portion unauthorized thereof, of early check-in and late checkout.
-Guests are responsible for any damage they cause. If something does happen contact us ASAP and we will see if there’s a way to quickly take care of the issue before it gets worse and costs more.
-Please don’t rearrange the furniture.
-Please do your dishes.
-No illegal substances allowed on premises.
- Primary renter must be at least 25 years old or active military.
- ESA and service animals require documentation and adherence to our policies.
- Do not set the AC below 72° or heat above 78°.
- If there are kayaks or bikes included in the rental, use these responsibly, following all Florida regulations. Not all units under management include kayaks or bikes, please reference the listing to see included amenities. You confirm you are trained in the use of kayaks and bicycles.
