On the Beach, Teddy Roosevelt Stayed Here. Pet friendly, large fenced property

Tina's cabin in Pass Christian gave us another way to spell perfect.The ambiance, the ancient oaks, the beautiful fenced lawns, the huge screened in patio, the historical vibes.We loved the pace, our wonderful dogs loved the place, and we can't wait to stay there again and kick back and relax

Cozy space. Loved our stay. Short walk to the beach along the property. Loved the location. Couldn’t figure out how to turn on the fans on the patio and would have preferred 2 ply toilet paper! LOL. Over all loved it here.

This was our 3rd time staying at TR. Cant get enough of the place (stayed a total of 33 days). Its always clean, private, relaxing, etc...to say this place is 5 star is an understatement. If you are looking for a place to stay while on the gulf coast. This is the place you want.

Very nice property. Great value

The lighting was bad in the bathroom and the toilet kept running. A plumber came out and made some adjustments to the toilet, but it still was not fixed. The dishwasher was broken so we had to hand wash everything. The info stated the house was on the beach. However, it was not. You could barely even see the ocean from the property. The walk to the beach was across two busy 4 lanes of traffic and thru another property to walk to the beach, about 400 yards. I didn't consider this as being on the beach as stated on the information about property. Will not be booking here again!

My wife and I had a great visit and found the accommodations welcoming and comfortable! We would definitely book it again!

Very clean and the coast was easy to get in touch with. The house is not on the beach. It’s across from the beach elite at least at 1/2 acre away. It is a very small house with only one TV in the bedroom. It is very nice. We were disappointed that it was not closer to the beach.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here along with our pups. They loved the very large nice fenced in yard House was very clean and appropriately furnished. The screened porch is huge and a very relaxing area. All the surrounding towns are charming with excellent restaurants . We enjoyed walks on the beach ! We will return in the future!

Perfect property for us and our dog. Great yard for him to run and an easy distance to the ocean.

This was the perfect place for our stay for a wedding and we loved the easy access to the beach. the outdoor patio was wonderful and having a full kitchen was such a perk!!

Everything is lovely at Teddy's. AWESOME cabin in a great location.. Blown away by the beautiful beaches and FABULOUS RESTAURANTS. The coffee maker is drip only so we purchased our own. Thanks for a memorable and adventurous trip.

This is our 4th visit here. We love the location, fenced yard for our tripod, having a wonderful screened patio with fireplace, etc. Walking distance to downtown a plus.

We had a great stay in Pass Christian. Property was expected. Walking distance to the beach. The fireplace in the screened-in patio was very nice. Firewood took awhile to find in the area but we found at the Shell station in Bay St Louis. Also at Bucky's on I10 in Pass Christian. We hope to stay here again.

The house was lovely and the fenced in yard was great for our dogs. The neighborhood was very quiet and relaxing. Pass Christian was a very welcoming community.

This is our third or fourth time being here. Always excellent.

The yard was huge! The bed was super comfortable. The pool was lovely. The host was very responsive. The only thing I would say is bring lots of bug spray because the mosquitos were insane, even in January. Also a super minor thing, but there is not a smart TV so if you want to watch any streaming services bring a Roku or Amazon fire stick.

The property was perfect for us and our two dogs; a beautiful, safe neighborhood where our dogs could freely roam the fenced yard. We had everything we needed for the week, all the comforts of home. The house was immaculate and well maintained, the beach was just steps away, and our screened in porch with fireplace and ocean view was our favorite spot in Pass Christian.

The photos in the listing are very accurate. The spacious screened-in sitting area is a great place for a cozy fire on a chilly day. And you can see the water from there! This property is a real gem, and it's an easy walk or a very quick drive to shops and restaurants. A lovely getaway. We'll be back!

Our second stay at this pet friendly was again great. The fenced yard and large screened porch was a plus. Will stay here again on our next visit to Pass Christian...

From the time we arrived truly loved. The location with nice fence all around especially for the freedom of our adopted dog to run and explore. The rooms nice and large, nice equipped kitchen (really appreciate the help our host walked us through with the stove top, she was gracious in patience with this older couple.) Did not have cool enough weather for fireplace, but hope to come back in cooler weather. Fireplace large and nice, pretty stoned look. The open large screened room was my favorite! Nothing more to say but just wonderful time here! Great places to eat nearby! Robert’s Cafe , Shaggy’s at the Pass. We enjoyed taking our Bandit to beach at Bay St. Louis and visiting over there. We just explored new places. Also enjoyed seeing Jefferson Davis home. We hope to come back soon. Happy peaceful place. Oh I forgot loved the train . I grew up with a railroad track near and I smiled when I heard that familiar sound. Did not bother my sleep. Loved it all.

The VRBO description led us to believe this property was on the beach rather than a block's drive plus crossing a 4 lane highway and certainly not our own private beachWe depended on the accuracy of the VRBO description and that was a huge disappointment. There is no possible was to describe the facility! It was exactly as pictured--well, not exactly. It was much better! We practically lived in the front porch, watching the squirrels scamper from tree to tree which were full of birds. The pantries were so full that there is no need to bring anything but food. The one very dangerous thing we saw was the main entrance where the key box is. There are three large stone steps. These are not smooth steps but very rough. They need a rail. That would solve the issue. As past owners of a Bed and Breakfast Inn with four cottages, I hope you will not take this as a negative review but one with suggestions that will make your property safer and more desirable through the VRBO web pages and bring you many return guests. You have our permission to delete this review.

This has been one of our favorite properties on the Gulf Coast to stay. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool and screened in patio area. We felt secure that our dogs could stretch their legs on the fully fenced yard. It was a truly relaxing stay. Can’t wait to be back!

This place is amazing! Just like the description said and more. Close to everything, comfy, and the property is great!Short walk to the beach, large yard, pool was definitely a plus. The screened porch was the highlight! We will come back.

What a gem! The house is lovely with everything you could need. The bedroom is large with doors out to the screened porch. Our dog loved the fenced yard, and we enjoyed the quiet. The porch is wonderful and you can't beat the location - minutes to shops and restaurants. A few things to note - The house is not on the beach despite the description, and you cannot walk from the backyard to the water. You would have to walk to the next side street and then up a block and across the divided main road. Apparently there is a pedestrian gate, but there were no directions and we didn't feel comfortable walking through other people's yards to look for it. Additionally, while the pool is available, there are no chairs, so reclining by the pool was out. Linens and bedding were comfortable and there were plenty of pillows. You WILL hear the train multiple times a night. It's not the end of the world and by the third night I barely registered it. This is a unique home with a bit of an odd parking situation, but we would absolutely stay again. Pass Christian is a treasure!

Historic building with modern additions. Everything you need for your stay is provided.Loved the screened porch and zero entry pool. Across the street from the beach with a large fenced in yard for our two dogs to play.Small suggestion, the only addition is a full size mirror. Highly recommend this property.

The house was great. Not right on the beach,, but a short walk. Very clean and quiet.

Everything was excellent as always. We would definitely stay again. Truman and Winston, our fur babies give this place 8 paws.

The home is clean, bed is very comfortable, and it's located a short drive to the downtown area which has several cute shops and restaurants. I recommend the Farmers Market on Saturdays, Roberts Place Cafe (excellent breakfast), Sea Level (phenomenal burgers), and there's a cute bookstore downtown with a great coffee shop in it. Receiving communication from the owner was a struggle. Several days with no response, then no clarity on whether the issue could or would be addressed. The other issue we had was with the grass being too tall for us and our dog to enjoy the yard. Otherwise, a cute home.

Great relaxing stay

I think this is probably my most favorite VRBO we've stayed at ever! It was just magical. From the spacious fenced yard, which are dog enjoyed, to the spacious screened porch with fans, big enough to play ball with the dog, to the incredibly roomy comfy interior, don't think I could find anything lacking. BUT! The best part! Our own little private pool complete with floaties. Took out some music, and floated around in there for literally hours. It was absolute paradise. And this was not just a turquoise rectangular pool. It had character! It was fun to explore, even though it was not huge, but did not need any more space. House was close to all sorts of stuff, but comfy to just stay in as well. Hoping we can come back here sometime soon!

This is our second time staying here and it hopefully won’t be the last. The fenced in yard is a major plus for our 50lb and 36 pound pups. The pool is nestled amongst some trees so there’s a bit of shade. It’s always perfect for cooling down after walking around town. It has a separate fence so it’s also a great place for the dogs to lounge around without getting overheated. Owners are very nice and walk over from their beach house to make sure everything is going well.

This cute cottage was perfect for us. The yard is large and my 2 labs loved it. The only issue we had was that we could only get one outside fan to work and it was Hot.

My wife and i have stayed at TR in May of 2024 and May 2025. The residence and property is second to none. The screen porch is a fantastic place to spend some quality time. The residence has all the amenities one needs. The pool is wonderful and the beach is right across the street. As i said in my first review i would rather not leave a review because the less people who know about this gem the better. However that would not be right. This is 5 star!! If you are seeking a beautiful place to stay while on vacation. Look no further!! We will be back!! Thanks Rebecca!

This was our second time. We had a great stay. We know the property description says you mow every other week but some of the grass was 3 feet tall but they came and mowed during the middle of our stay. The pool was great they were cleaning it as we arrived. We recommend this home it is so close to everything.

We loved our stay so much that we’ve already booked for next year! The cabin and grounds were so comfortable and welcoming. Rooms are larger than they appear in the pictures. The fenced yard was safe for the dogs. And the entire Pass Christian area is beautiful. We highly recommend the Roberts Place Cafe downtown…their bacon is sooo delicious. We can’t wait until our next visit to this property!

What a really fantastic setting. We enjoyed sitting in the screened porch listening to the birds and just enjoying how quiet and beautiful the property is. It had everything we needed including a short walk to the beach.

Lovely but need info re cabin type of woods/beams etc

My daughters and I loved our weekend getaway to the Pass! The cabin was adorable and perfectly stocked. We had a great evening playing cards and laughing under the Edison lights on the back porch. Can’t wait to come back for another relaxing long weekend!

We arrived for just a quick couple of nights stay. The property was absolutely beautiful, we felt safe and were within walking distance of the ocean.There were a couple questions we had that you might want to get answers to beforehand: 1) where do we find the firewood? (we just went to a gas station. I bought some.) and. 2) how do you access the pool… We weren’t sure if we could walk on the other gated property or not!I’m sure if we would’ve asked the owner would’ve responded immediately, we just didn’t ask.We actually were able to drive up to the beach. There are plenty places to park and the white sand beaches are beautiful.The water wasn’t as blue as I had expected, but the beach was nice to walk on!It was a perfect location and there are really great shops both to the east and to the west along the beach.It was perfect for just the two of us! The outside patio was the seller for me and it really was amazing!

Our stay was great, the cabin was as described. Very homey, cozy and comfortable. We will be booking again! My only suggestion is maybe have a little stack of fire wood, for when guests get there the first night. Not a dealbreaker though. We really enjoyed our stay.

Quiet location. We loved the screen in porch and the cabin. Very clean and comfortable. The beach is across the street with a short walk and very small pool was not swimmable when we were there. We went to relax and enjoy time together and strolls on the beach. We had a very nice stay.

Love this property that offers great peace and quiet.

We went down just for the weekend with our pup and we really enjoyed the space. The fenced in yard was fabulous as it gave our dog plenty of space to run. The outdoor area was really nice and enjoyable. All accommodations were as indicated. We liked it so much we actually booked it again on our way home. We'll be back for the Christmas festivities and Harbor Lights in Gulfport. Love the Pass Christian and Long Beach areas. You won't be disappointed.

Second time staying here & we Love this place!!! Pass Christian is a quiet & relaxing community. There are so many places around to explore. The home is perfect for our dogs too, great fenced in yard & screened in porch. We were able to light a fire this time & it was amazing. We can’t wait to return

This place is wonderful, cozy and just as described. Very clean quiet and comfortable. A really amazing layout for a small space that didn’t skimp on anything. The porch was the best! A short drive to the bay or walk to town. We brought our dog who enjoyed the large yard and close proximity to beach path. Will definitely stay again! Thank you! Was perfect!

The his is our 2nd time here. We love this house. We enjoy coming here and truly unplugging. Our girls always ask to come here and stay. I lived here for a few years with the navy. Pass Christian is my favorite place, now it is our girls favorite place. This cabin is the only place we want to stay when we are here. It’s great and there is always a quick response when needed. We look forward to more memories here in the future.

Nice property, sort of quiet…..late night and early morning train whistle….yes it will wake you! Great property to stroll around on. Will stay longer next time!!
