EXCELLENT LOCATION! Charming 1930s bungalow with lots of character situated within easy walking distance to beach and docks. Beautiful views and access to Flathead Lake, the largest freshwater lake west of the Mississippi River. Located in historic downtown Polson. Walking distance to local restaurants, bakeries, craft shops, the local library, water sports rental shop, local cheese factory, ice cream shop, and much more. Native American art is celebrated and displayed in local galleries.

Flathead Lake and Polson are full of opportunities for outdoor recreation for a true Montana experience. COVID19 may impact recreation opportunities. Opportunities typically include fishing, boating, paddle boarding, kayaking, hiking, antiquing, biking, and various other outdoor activities.

This charming 1930s house rental is for the main level of house. This includes two bedrooms, one with a bunk bed to sleep two and the other with a full bed to sleep two more.

Two queen size futons are located in the living room, sleeping four more.

The spacious dining room contains an authentic barn table that easily seats eight.

The rental is wonderful for children. The back room is a dedicated children's fun room sunroom with two walls painted in chalkboard paint for children to write and draw on as well as a large craft table with crayons and coloring books. Comfortable lounging chairs are there to relax in.

The house includes a modern and kitchen with a microwave, full-size refrigerator/freezer, and oven/range. Dishes, utensils, blender, coffee maker included. Bedding, pillows, and towels (for beach and for bathroom) provided. Bathroom includes toilet, sink, and shower. No bathtub is included in bathroom. Baseboard heat is provided. Small children should be monitored by these heating units. There is no air conditioning but fans keep the house cool when needed. A charcoal barbecue grill is located outside. Clothes washer and dryer not located on property.

This one-of-a-kind quaint rental is situated in a nice, quiet residential area in the heart of downtown Polson, a vibrant Montana city located on the Flathead Reservation. It offers unique access to the beach, lake, and downtown area. It is a chance to getaway but still have all the conveniences of being in town.

The front yard boasts a beautiful view of Flathead Lake. It also contains a man-made small beach sand pit made for children where children can dig for rocks, shells, and treasure. The property is not lakefront or beachfront but is a short 1/2 block walk and then down a path to the public beach.

Neighboring adjacent property on south side is undergoing extensive renovations but a 6 foot privacy fence separates the properties.

Rental is for the main house level. Upper level of house is unoccupied but not included in rental of main level as the owner occasionally uses the area. Owner has boat stored behind house (not included in rental) but owner may obtain boat for use during stay. This will not impact rental stay.

Check-in is at 3:00 p.m. unless an early check-in has been requested and is approved. Check-out is 12:00 p.m. Additional details regarding keys will be provided upon rental.

This is a chance to really unplug and relax. Excellent cell phone reception exists. Wifi included. A large 50 inch television with a DVD player and small movie selection is available. Washer and dryer included.

    The house was like 95 degrees the entire time. No AC and the fans did not cool anything down. There was a smell, uneven flooring and walks, and nothing was really comfortable. We phoned the property manager however it just went voice mail stating that they were out of town for August 24-26, however we checked in after that date. The short walk to the beach was a 20 foot drop. We left after the first miserable night and incurred additional cost for hotels that we could sleep in and not be cooked.

    Location was great. Loved the beach close. The kitchen was nice and had everything we needed. Futons were OK, not great. Beds were very nice and all the bedding was nice. Enjoyed our stay very much. Thank you.

    Nice place to kick it for the weekend. Close to everything in downtown Polson so put your walking shoes on. One thing to note is on really hot weekends like we had the one small air conditioner does not keep up and will only cool the living room areas.

    The property was cute, quirky, miss matched furniture and beach house decor. Came into a messy house but property owner was very responsive and fixes the issues right away. Overall we enjoyed our stay. It was the PERFECT location.

    This place was perfect for our family of 6 while we visited for a wedding. The location was perfect and we especially enjoyed the family of deer in the back yard!

    The location between the lake and town was perfect. The house itself was comfortable, and my 16 month old grandson loved the chalk walls in the back sunroom. The internet was out while we were there, so we couldn't watch tv, which was actually a plus because we visited in the quiet evenings. We had a great family get-together.

    It was a great location if you want to be near the lake. The only draw back was that it didn't have air conditioning and at night it was hard to sleep because the house was hot. The night we got there, parking was kind of a pain. There were several other cars parked in front of the house and made it difficult to get our stuff into the house. Overall we had a great time and enjoyed the lake.
