ON A BLUFF WITH 180 DEGREE CLOSE WATER VIEWS SHORT WALK TO THE BEACH

This is an excellent location and from the street, It’s a beautiful property. However, home is in extreme need of routine maintenance and care. The beds are worn out. A light fixture was hanging from the ceiling. There were painted and half-a*** repair spots that had not been done properly. When we first opened the hot tub, it was quite frightening because some kind of white gunky stuff hung underneath the cover. Later, my friend discovered it was nothing but the cover falling apart. No kitchen knives, and very few spoons/forks. The kitchen cabinets and drawers are worn out. Cabinet knobs had all the paint worn off around them and some of them were held closed with rubber bands because they would not stay shut. Window latches were taped.

The only thing I was disappointed in was there was no outside area in the backyard or a deck in the front. Everything else was as described.

Absolutely beautiful house with a spectacular view! Kitchen and bbq grills were all stocked with everything we needed. The fireplace even came stocked with wood for us to use. The one thing that would have been helpful is more blankets as we had some people on the couch beds and we had use blankets off the regular beds. Everything else was perfect and made for a memorable weekend.

Beautiful picture window views, lovely flexible house set up for extended family to stay, short walk to a lovely tucked away beach, enjoyed the hot tub, fireplace, and well stocked games/activities for families. Would definitely stay here again!

Location was amazing with views of the ocean. Rooms were spacious and clean. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook and serve meals. Hot tub was just the right temp and water was clean, needed more bat towels. The fireplace was a welcome addition with enough firewood supplied to take the chill off the living room. The house was very comfortable for my family. The house is definitely in need of repairs! It rained two of the 3 days we were there and there are multiple leaks in the roof, skylights, windows and above some exterior doors. There was garbage in the outside storage room from previous guests and the door to it is in shambles. Plumbing issues with showers are in all the bathrooms, mainly shower valves. Too nice of a home to ignore repairs and what repairs were done of poor quality.

The view was amazing. Definitely the best part. The worst part was the beds… they need to be replaced. Every one of my guests said they were extremely uncomfortable. Also, the showers didn’t work in half of them…. One of the curtain rods fell on my daughter‘s head as she tried to open the curtains. I was very concerned, but she was OK. The bedding felt well used, and there were no shower racks in any of the bathrooms and not enough towels for all of our guests. The raccoons got into the trash and it took a day and a half to get the smelly trash from the previous owners removed as well as ours. My daughter kept saying mom, it’s a good price for being right on the ocean and I agree, but certain comforts are absolutely necessary.

This home needs some serious updating. The skylights leak, windows are broken, the master shower has parts missing and there wasn't enough hot water for four showers. The key was under the doormat, but the doormat was falling apart. There have been repairs to the drywall that were done poorly and the house just seems to be a bit neglected.

Beautiful property with amazing sunset views of the bay. Pet friendly and accommodated our family perfectly. Lots of games and kids books for the children too.

Hi.I think the site was down so the host was super fast in responding to my questions about kitchen amenities.A few things:Some of the photos on site do not portray actual furnishings, and list the front walkway as a terrace which seems misleading. No photos of actual kitchen which would have been helpful. The dishwasher ran poorly and the bottom basket was off its rails. There is a sunken shower stall with no handrails.All in all, it was great for our group but please update site and put safety rails in bathroom with sunken shower. Also include instructions on master bedroom shower which has lots of bells and whistles.Thank you!

Home has major maintenance issues: heating was inadequate as mentioned from previous October review; fireplace venting issue causing smoke in the house; leaking skylight puddling water in the hall; other water damage around windows and black mold in bathroom.

The view was excellent, 5 out of 5. The house was not in the best of condition, 2 out of 5. I had to contact the host to get enough towels for the 11 people and bedding for one of the beds. They were dropped off the next morning.The kitchen was in need of serious improvement. The refrigerator had missing and broken shelves, needed the filter changed and the ice maker didn’t work.The counter tops were cracked and chipped. The dishwasher was missing the top spray arm and the rails for the bottom rack. Even with hand prewash it did a very poor job. We cleaned the nasty filter and ran a hot cycle with vinegar to see if it would help.One of the master beds had a comfortable mattress but the frame was so wobbly it felt like it would collapse at any moment. One of the master showers has a clear glass window inside the shower that is clearly seen from the green space beyond.The only wood provided for the fireplace was 3 sticks of kindling.I was told there was only a charcoal grill so I bought charcoal to find there was a gas grill. If any one uses it be sure to turn the valve off on the tank because the valve on the grill didn’t shut off and we didn’t realize it until we were smelling the propane. That could have been a terrible disaster!There is a water leak in the outdoor closet where the trash is .There is a wild raccoon living in the wall outside the fireplace. We saw him go up into the uncovered vent and could hear him in the wall.More issues but no more space to list.

Great stay! Wonderful location, and beautiful views from the house. Short but steep trail to the beach was perfect. Unfortunately, the house stayed pretty cold, but they did offer space heaters and a fire place which were necessary. The kitchen had everything we possibly needed and more! There are stairs to the kitchen and living room which were challenging for our older guests. Overall clean and would recommend.

Host interaction was excellent. The wifi was problematic and went out multiple times, the house needs some tlc (visible water stains, dirty walls and doors, some mildew smells present on linens and on. bedrooms. The kitchen while very stocked in many items was lacking in some basics (i.e. wine glasses and opener). The decor was charming in most rooms and the view was spectacular.

No heat. On day 3 a HA tech arrived spent whole afternoon in house with attic ladder in hall, front door open and admitted that he couldn't fix it without other tools. Gave us some tips on how to get some heat. Then rain came and roof leaked in living room, hallway and bedroom. Mold around some windows, musty smell, paint peeling under windows.

Kitchen had more appliances than any other VRBO that I have stayed at. Beautiful views! I would definitely stay there again. Hot tub was perfect!

The view of the ocean was amazing, the bedrooms were cold but we bought firewood so the living room was warm and comfortable.

The home was very nice, lots of room and bathrooms, the ocean views and sunsets spectacular, easy access to the beach and the hot tub was wonderful. the game was fun and the bbq worked great. The kitchen was really well equipped and a set up for many people. The neighborhood was quiet and parking was easy.

We had a great stay with plenty of room. When in the hot tub, noticed sand inside. Looks like prior occupant had used the hot tub to wash the sand off from the beach. Tried to use the clean cycle but the sand remained.

Great house and location! Perfect for large families who need more space in the living room! Short walk to a small beach which was beautiful and not a lot of people.

The property is beautiful. Very large living room and dining room with views of the ocean and natural sounds of seals barking in the background. The four large bedrooms are located at seperate corners of the home, they are large and provide individual privacy. We had a good time, with a few challenges for our Mom who has limited mobility. Our Mom is waiting for knee surgery and the home has stairs everywhere. The home is on multiple levels and each living area is accessed by a different set of stairs. All have a hand rail affording some safety except for access to the living room. The owners should install a handrail to the living room stairs and also repair the broken wood trim on the floor. Pictures and description do not give accurate information about the stairs or access to each floor of the living areas and garage where the BBQ and pool table are located. Otherwise beautiful views and roomy accommodations.

Our three adult sons and spouses joined us for a staycation...we live in Sonoma County. It was perfect for the 8 adults and infant. Weather was absolutely gorgeous.

Great location

Location was superb. Need instructions on how to turn on the shower, and maybe a fresh coat of paint inside. I think there are mice/critters in the walls, heard scratching at night.

Nice big house and there were a couple of hide-a-beds we discovered.

We enjoyed our stay but ad does not show road in front of house. Could not get Master hand held shower to work. Only glass container liquid soap at sink…no shower soap or Kleenex. No grab rails in showers & hand rail to sunken living room. No operating or closing instructions.

Beautiful and spacious home. We were 6 adults and 3 young children. Split the 4 bedrooms just fine. There was a trail a few minutes (driving) away where you can park your car and go for the 1 mile trail - to the beach and back. There is also a wonderful restaurant in the actual community and beautiful views walking around the neighborhood. We had lots of beautiful deer and wild rabbits pay us a visit outside. The property had plenty of towels and linens. The kitchen had basics like salt, pepper, utensils, coffee maker, etc. Bring some cooking spray or oil though! (And ketchup) Only thing we were a bit disappointed with was that the jacuzzi needed some major cleaning. We turned the jets on and suddenly all these old hairs and debris came out and flooded the jacuzzi. Also fair warning, the hot water runs out rather quickly so plan accordingly when showering. Or with multiple people using the showers. Other than those minor things, it was a great stay! Host very responsive and helpful!

The location can’t be beat, the views are incredible. We had a few issues that were handled with great satisfaction by the owner.

It is a 4 bedroom, 4 bath house with a jacuzzi. The rooms were decorated in a wonderful sea styles. The house was very roomy with a pool table in the garage. The master suite was unbelievably huge. The mattress could definitely be softer. I would stay here again for the ocean views alone.

This was our second visit with our family for our son's 40th birthday. The house is great for a crowd and for all ages...clean and well-supplied. Manager was available for any questions with prompt response. We lucked out and had wonderful weather too!

Fantastic quiet location in the golfing community in the Bodega Bay headlands. Easy access to Pinnacle and Doran beaches. Comfortable spacious home. Very responsive hosts. Would stay again.

It is a pretty location, made more wonderful by the amazing host Felicity - who is very responsive and accommodating. Would highly recommend for anyone who wants to stay in Bodega Area !

We really enjoyed the cozy spaciousness of this clean home, with multiple rooms to choose from, ample space to relax and a super functional kitchen. The host was very considerate of our needs, and left us welcome goodies on the counter which was an unexpected treat. We enjoyed the fireplace and wood was even provided. Could not have asked for more for a memorable weekend getaway!

The view is beautiful!; however the house needs some attention. A really good cleaning and some paint would be helpful. There are multiple stairs to get to the main floor, there is a really good handrail. There are also a couple of stairs to the kitchen also with a really good handrail. There is a sunken living room, unfortunately there is not a hand rail and there is a piece of trim that is a tripping hazzard. The host was very kind and communication was good. There is a pool table in the garage and multiple adirondack chairs on the front patio. The hot tub area is in the middle of the house and a couple of the bedrooms have doors that open into that area. The deck is soft in a few places. There were a lot of extra blankets and space heaters for your use, as well as a fireplace. Lighting in the kitchen and living room was pretty dim. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Felicity's home was the perfect place for our retreat. The common spaces were spacious allowing eight of us to easily come together in the comfortable abundant seating in the main living space and around the dining table. The four bedrooms all contained comfortable warm bedding and mattresses with an extra private room for one of us. The hot tub was clean and heated perfectly -- a big plus we look for in our annual retreats. IN addition, it was a true pleasure communicating with Felicity leading up to our time in her home and during our retreat to answer any questions we had. She was caring, warm and responsive to every inquiry or request for more information. We look forward to returning next year!

This house was wonderfully located with a beautiful view of the sea and picturesque sunsets. It was also quiet with the welcome sounds of the sea lions and fog horn and at times with deer walking by the property. However, the layout of the house is not friendly to seniors due to the stairs. While the description of the property mentioned that we bring our own toiletries, it is the first one that I have stayed in without provision of toiletries which is a basic standard in most rental properties.

Great time with family! Plenty of space for all 10 of us. Enough bedrooms, bathrooms, community areas with views galore to accommodate us comfortably.

Pro's: absolutely beautiful ocean views from the kitchen, dining room, and living room. Very spacious with four full bedrooms and plenty of seating in common areas. Very short, 5-7 minute walk to the beach. Nice game table in nook in living room for cards, puzzels, etc.. Pool table. Hot tub. Con's: One shower with glass wall to outside with no curtain and no way to adjust water flow. Another shower with slugs and millipede that come out of areas missing caulking when shower is on. No place to hang towels in bathroom. All four mattresses are very soft which could be ok unless you have a back problem. Hot tub throws breaker unless you only use half of the jets. No back yard seating; front of the house faces the ocean with chairs spread along the sidewalk. The ocean view was spectacular, though!
