Old Tuscan farmhouse with salt pool, soccer/volleyball field, barbecue

As previous people have said, it’s hard to believe but the property and location really are even more lovely in reality than in the pictures. Loads of space and things to do (including games for the occasional rainy day indoors) and also wonderfully resourced in terms of crockery, cutlery and linen. Hosts incredibly friendly and welcoming and very quick to reply to questions in advance and during the stay. Even the weather was kind - not above 30 degrees despite being August and the breeze was a welcomed addition.

Our family of 6 had a wonderful time at this beautiful Tuscan farmhouse. It is even better than the pictures! The hosts Federica and Giuseppe make sure you are well informed and give you personal attention to help you settle in. The property is in excellent condition and one of a kind. We had a great stay and enjoyed dining out using Federica's suggestions and also dining in using the well equipped kitchen and bbq. Thank you Federica and Giuseppe for these lifelong memories!

I can’t even begin to describe our stay at Federica and Guiseppe’s wonderful house! It is even more beautiful than the pictures and wonderfully placed in the Tuscan hills. Everything was spotless clean and the garden so beautiful with flowers, fresh basil and plants. The pool was amazing and we spent full days here. Federica cooked us a homemade delicious Italian dinner that was to die for! She was so so kind and made our stay a memory we will always cherish. A huge thank you for having us.

What a great place to have a holiday in Casale La Rosa dei Venti. Before we arrived allready received great information and what a warm welcome we got at the day of arrival. We stayed here for one week with an 8 year old, 4 year old and 2 year old but for all of them more than enough possibilities to enjoy (swing, football field, soccer table, ping pong etc) but offcourse also the great pool, its great garden and the lovely house itself! We enjoyed our holiday thanks to this place!! Thank you Federica and Giuseppe

Federica and Giuseppe were wonderful hosts - great communication throughout the stay and always available. The house was immaculate and well presented. The pool and facilities (swing, table tennis, football pitch etc) were superb. Views were incredible and the area was so peaceful. Highly recommend this villa for a restful break!

The villa itself is beautiful! A converted barn style property with thick stone walls. That coupled with the mountain location, means it is naturally cool. The photos of the villa really don't do it justice, as it is much bigger than it appears (including the pool!), but it also doesn't show the incredible vista that you are able to enjoy from the outside dining area and pool. If you are looking to get away from it all, then I can't recommend this villa enough. It is in the middle of nowhere, yet the nearest supermarket only 15mins drive away. Federica is a wonderful host and really wants you to have the best time possible. She was very responsive on WhatsApp to any questions and queries we had. It is like you are being welcomed into her family home, rather than just a holiday let. There were eight of us staying there as two families of 4 with teenage children. There is ample space for everyone to have quit time and plenty to entertain the children too. I'd recommend the home cooked meal that they offer too which was delicious. Overall I'd be happy to recommend this villa to family and friends and would definitely consider returning myself.

We enjoyed a wonderful week with two families - what a beautiful spot! The house is very well equipped including lots of games and sport activities for the kids on the premises (i.e. football court, table tennis, table football, very cool swing etc etc ) and of course a great pool. The view over the valley is magnificent. Contact with the owner Franseca was really good - so friendly! It is quite a drive to nearest shops but this did not bother us at all.

I couldn’t believe my eyes when we arrived! This property was exactly as the pictures portrayed. It was all we had hoped for and lacked nothing! Not only is it lovingly and meticulously maintained by Federica and Giuseppe, both inside and the stunning grounds, but the warmth of the welcome we received from them was above and beyond. We drove from the UK, so did not arrive until 1am. Federica and members of her family were not concerned at all by this, and were at the property to greet us with warm smiles, handshakes, and genuine pleasure. It was heartwarming, after such a long drive. On entering the property we found a delicious cake, made for us by Federica, along with wine, free range eggs from her friend’s farm and bread and milk. We couldn’t have asked for more, and felt instantly at home. Federica gave us a guided tour of the house, and pointed out all we would need to know for our stay, including where to find the gas shut off point and the electricity trip switch box. The electric fans in the cupboard were a Godsend! Throughout our two weeks, Federica and Giuseppe left us to enjoy our holiday, but discretely ensured that the amazing pool was maintained and that all the pots and plants were watered. We received a linen and towel change mid-stay. The love they have put into this property is palpable! Despite their discretion, we were reassured by the fact that if we had a question, or a problem, they were there ready to help us - instantly! We had problems with our car air conditioning (a vital resource, considering it was 38 degrees!) and within minutes, Federica had found us a garage and made us an appointment. We really were so grateful! The views from this magnificent property are beautiful! Watching the sunset over the golden field was one of my favourite evening activities, and swinging on the garden swing, in the gentle night time breeze, listening to the soothing rattle of the cicada beetles was the perfect relaxation and a moment each night that I have bottled. The fresh cherries and apricots on the trees in the garden provided the perfect accompaniment to every breakfast, and the sense of being truly immersed in Italian culture was instant. It was a privilege to enjoy this magnificent property and to be hosted by such warm and welcoming people. The whole experience has been one of life’s treasured moments. We will remember both our holiday and the wonderful couple who hosted us with great fondness.

We spend very nice time in this house. We stayed there with friends & children and it was very comfortable place for us. Everything was perfectly prepared and clean. Kitchen was fully equipped, and there was a lot of facilities like balls, football pitch, table tennis, table football and games. House is beautiful located with amazing view. There is nice ground where our children was playing all days. Finally what we appreciate a lot - Federica was very helpful and always on duty during our stay. We felt save and calm. The best place to spend holiday. Thank you Federica! We were amazed.
