The Space:

Old Dame School is a detached character cottage in Bainbridge. The cottage has a king-size double room with en-suite, and a twin room. Downstairs is a shower room, kitchen, dining room and sitting room with woodburner. Outside is a front bench and side patio, and parking can be found on the roadside. Old Dame School is in the heart of the village with easy accessto the shop and pub, and is also within easy reach of wonderful walking, and all the attractions of the Dales. Every effort has been given to maintaining the character and authenticity of this traditional cottage, but this does mean that there are low ceiling and doorways. Note: Slightly reduced headroom in some areas of the cottage.



The Neighborhood:

The lovely Wensleydale village of Bainbridge is situated in beautiful countryside, four miles from the market town of Hawes. The village is an excellent base for walkers, and there are many beauty spots in the area including Aysgarth Falls, Semerwater, castles at both Castle Bolton and Middleham and Hardraw Force - England's highest single waterfall.
