Okanagan - Yankee Sno-Home

It was a great stay, everything as advertised.

This property was nicer than the photos in the listing! The owners are in the process of upgrading it and we found the living room furniture upgraded with larger flat screen TV as well as the master suite. Only concern was the hot tub needed to be drained and refilled which left us with no hot tub for a couple evenings.Huge plus is how stocked the kitchen is for appliances and utensils! Tons of dishes and small appliances!

We had 16 nights in the Yankee Sno-Home and the house was great. The location is fantastic, the ski in and out was just perfect and the house was mostly very comfortable and lovely. The only thing detracting from a 5 star review was the state of the house. It was all a little dilapidated and could do with a refresh and a thorough clean, especially the kitchen. The couch in the lounge has seen better days, it had a big rip in the one cushion, and the blankets in the lounge area were covered in dog hair. The fireplace in the lounge had apparently recently been replaced, but this wasn't completed and no one came in to do anything to it even though we were promised they would. The pool table was a great addition but needs a new felt. I would recommend a deep clean of the kitchen. It all felt a little unloved and old. For the price we were paying, we really expected a higher level of quality. It would also be good to have some information provided about the house in general and how things like the appliances work, what to do with rubbish, what restaurants are available etc. When we have stayed at other VRBO sites, there is usually a booklet informing you of how everything in the area works. Yes we can Google all the items but it would be a really welcoming and useful item to have. I did make contact and send the full list through to the Vacasa team and although I received feedback saying my message was received we never received any other feedback. I found this disappointing.

Stayed for 5 days and had a great time. Well stocked kitchen. Comfy beds. Great showers in all bathrooms. Fun games rooml and ping pong

The property is spacious and well equipped. Many appliances are up to date. The area is easy to locate, it is also a well maintain property. The management company is very fast response to any of my questions. Overall, we really love our stay there, would definitely go back if we are in big white.

The main floor living space is quite large. It’s easy for a group of people to spread out. Overall things worked well and it was an enjoyable experience. The management group was very responsive. It does need some updating, including a new barbecue. We would recommend it and definitely stay here again.

This property is in a great location with quick access to Happy Valley and the gondola or a short walk across to Plaza access. The building is spacious and comfortable, exactly as pictured. This location is perfect for families. The kitchen is beautifully equipped. We'd love to be back next season!
