Stayed Dec 31, 1969Too hot during dry season. Very primitive. We felt unwelcome by owners. The property was beautiful for bird watching. The books in the screen porch were well used. Too many personal trinkets to fall from high places. No place for guest items. Replace the can opener! Its hooped ?

Stayed Apr 22, 2019We stayed in the Casa Bambu part of each day and in our new but unfurnished home part of the time. So, we did not make use of the dipping pool or explore the grounds. Nonetheless, we enjoyed our stay. We loved the screened in living/dining area and spent much of our time there relaxing, eating and using our lap top. We got excellent internet reception in the unit. The bedroom and bathroom were decorated with fresh flowers from the property when we arrived, which was a really welcoming touch . The bed is very comfortable and the small bathroom adequately stocked with towels. The shower never warmed up, which is not a big deal in the rather hot and humid climate. The kitchen has a gas stove and full sized fridge and all the basics needed to cook a meal. The unit is perfect for a couple looking for a romantic little hideaway.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We stayed 6 nights at Casa Bambu. Sharon, our host, was very friendly and helpful in telling us good restaurants and where to see the best sunset. It was in a good location to access tours either out of Uvita or Sierpe. It was great to wake up early to the sound of birds. Sharon also offers Yoga on site. We did not take advantage of this as we had other plans most days but the studio looked wonderful. We had a wonderful vacation.

Stayed Jan 22, 2017The rustic garden setting in a quiet corner of town was the perfect place to get away from a congested city-style vacation. But there was still easy access to great meals and beautiful beaches and sights. The owner was very friendly and helpful. And the dipping pool for cooling off was a life-saver in the hot weather. We had a great time!

Stayed Nov 30, 2016Casa Bambu is a little slice of heaven surrounded by beautiful well maintained grounds with amazing foliage and intoxicating fragrances..... such as ylang ylang! The Casa has everything you need and is beautifully detailed with a wonderful screened in porch with a super comfy chase to relax on.... Sharon the property owner gives you a welcome basket with the best ever banana bread I have ever tasted! We loved our stay & hope to return someday!
