Our host was wonderful and accommodating. The house was perfect for our family and pet.

We had a great time! The house met all of our needs.

The overall cleanliness of the home was average. I saw many details that I feel the owner should repair such as molding in kitchen and other rooms.

We really enjoyed the property. Plenty of room for everyone. The kitchen was well-stocked. The property was clean and well maintained. We will definitely be back.

We truly enjoyed ourselves here. The home felt welcoming and warm like home BUT-still felt like we were on vacation. Plenty of space and tucked away niches to be alone with a book or a breeze on any of the many areas on the decks, and large areas to engage in Family together time, an outstanding pool area, quiet neighborhood and close proximity to anything snd anywhere. Our 1 year old daughter had SOOO much space to get her roll on with her walker! Thank you for a splendid FIRST Family Tradition vacation in such a sweet Home!!!!

An amazing house and well located ! We had a wonderful time The pool came in handy when the kids were too beat up to go in the ocean anymore. Plenty of room for our big crew of five adults, three kids and a baby. They even had a high chair and pack and play! The dogs were also very impressed with their beds Would defiantly recommend

The house was great, plenty of room for all 8 of us plus two dogs. Pool was nice when we needed a break from the beach.Public parking for the beach was just a minute away. Owner was helpful with answering any issues/questions we had.

Our family of 8 adults, 2 toddlers, an infant, and 3 dogs had a wonderful week at Our Happy Place! While it is not super walkable to the beach (especially with the little ones and all their beach things), we found parking at Kitty Hawk Bath House most mornings, and there were almost always spots at the Lillian Street Access. The pool was a highlight especially considering we encountered a jellyfish heavy week at the beach. The kitchen was mostly well stocked, and the bedrooms were suitable for our families needs. We did not make much use of the game room or hot tub but both seemed inviting. The host was attentive to any issues that we faced and check in and check out were a breeze. This was our first large family trip, and our first time in OBX and if we plan another trip Our Happy Place would be where we'd like to stay.

We enjoyed Our Happy Place with our group that ranged from 2-adult. The space was great for our family and the kids loved the game room and pool!

Our Happy place was nice, pool was great, place was clean. Not much room for games in the game room. Front steps need some attention several in our party almost fell due to cracked loose boards. Kitchen and living area where wonderful, kitchen well stocked with everything needed. We had a wonderful time. Never any issue parking at the beach, plenty of room for everyone. The extra refrigerator came in handy with a large group.

We had an amazing time staying at Our Happy Place rental. Loved the location, the pool/hot tub/rec room!!! Close to the beach, added a few extra beach chairs & cooler for future guests to enjoy. Owners quick to respond to questions & requests! Will stay here again in we head back to OBX.

House was perfect for our size party & ages of 79 years old to 4. Hosts were lovely! Definitely will consider staying here again!!!

Was everything we needed. Very roomy it was perfect for 8 adults. Was too cold for the pool unfortunately

The family and I had originally booked Our Happy Place. The owner called to let me know that there was a problem at the property and that it could be fixed but it wouldn't look great or we could switch to their other property. We decided to switch to Mermaid Way. This property was great. The family loved the whole house, including the hot tub, pool and new game room. The location was good. Easy walk to the beach. Mini golf and grocery store right across the street. There was even dog bowls, a dog bed and chew toy for our dog. The only down fall is it is right next to the main road, so there is a lot of traffic noise. You do get use to the noise. The owner is quick to respond and very accommodating. This house was everything that our family needed to get away from our daily lives. The house was cleaning and had everything we need. Also it’s very close to shops & grocery stores. Would love to stay here again Thank you for having us

Love the convenience and the size of the house. Everyone has their own space to spread out. Loved the pool and hot tub. My boys loved the pool table and ping pong table. My furry boys enjoyed the walk around the neighborhood as well. Will stay again.

Plenty of room for our all adult family and 1 small doggo! Really enjoyed the pool, hot tub and the trip to the beach was totally manageable. Well equipped kitchen and grill worked will with no issues at all. Thanks!

We’ve stayed here twice so far, and plan to come back next year. Property owners are quick to respond when you have questions/issues. House is great - pool and hot tub are nice. Like all the balconies to enjoy outdoors even from the house. Close enough to beach that you can see ocean from the top floor front balcony. Nice quiet street away from the highway but still close to everything.
