We live onsite and the house was built as a rental in mind. When facing the building from the street, we are on the left side. You have your own separate entrance. You need to enter from the front door and can open the glass sliding door to the dining area (outside) and swimming pool. This side is approx. 1,300 square feet. Stayed Jul 18, 2019The property was ok and the space was nice. The landlords however were different!! They controlled the a/c remotely. Which means...... you are subject to their thermostat. When you pay fair market price, the thermostat should have been in my control at ALL times. After we left they claimed we broke some tiles on the floor and proceeded to take our damage deposit. Money hungry landlords- BEWARE!!!! I think they probably find something wrong every time so they can get more money!!

Stayed Mar 7, 2019Well situated. Short drive to Kailua beaches. Arrival and departure were very easy. An all around great place for our Kailua home base.

Stayed Jan 12, 2019The Ohana Cottage was exactly what we were hoping for! Close to everything we enjoy in Hawaii. Beaches, trails, and great local restaurants. It had such a wonderful Hawaiin vibe. The Phelps Ohana (John and Susan) could not have been more accomodating and welcoming. They were available, yet not intrusive at all. The beds were so comfortable, and we had everything at our fingertips to make our stay perfect. Our highest recommendations for the Ohana Cottage!
