Octopus Cottage: 1.5 Blocks to Beach, Pool & Spa by Anna Maria Life Vacation Rentals

This was our first time to AMI. Our house was fabulous with 4 king ensuites and great pool. It was a very short walk to the beach and chairs, umbrellas and wagon were available to use. Will definitely stay here again.

The house was amazing! It was very clean, in the perfect location, and fit the needs of our family. The only negative was that we got there at 10:30 at night with zero toilet paper and no soap of any kind to start with. It would have been nice to have something to start with provided for the price point. Otherwise, we had a great week!

We had a great stay. The pool area was great and we played cornhole and ping pong. The beach was only 1 1/2 blocks away. My only complaint was the master bed which was soft and not good for my back, but most people like it that way.

We were a family of 3 adult sons plus a daughter in law and grandson. The house was perfect for our family!! The pool and hot tub were used everyday! Clean for the most part ( supposedly cleaned 2 times week, but was not cleaned for our whole stay) ) ( we dipped out leaves ourselves as we had a couple of windy day) Got cloudy by weeks end. Perfect temperature as we were there in October. Kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. Although we loved this place, there are a few things that should probably be addressed. 1. It would be nice to have extra soap in the bathrooms. 1 small cake for each ( sink) bathroom just isn’t enough. 2. 2 dishwasher pods for a family of 8 for a week is not enough. We needed the dishwasher everyday as we had a toddler and we cooked most nights. 3. A couple extra rolls of tp would be nice as us ladies need a little more. 4. Not sure how to address this but in my opinion, the 2 masters near the kitchen need new mattresses. If they are fairly new, they are way too soft for my liking! Our backs were not happy. ** NOTE The photos you see of the beautiful outdoor fireplace are off limits to renters. This is only for the owners. If you are there in the summer, you are all good. We were there in October and would have loved to use it a couple days. All and all it’s a beautiful property, but as of now, it’s has made me think of things to ask before I rent something of this magnitude .

Property is amazing. Each bedroom has it owns bathroom. Outdoor area is perfect. Pool and hot tub are a nice size and Outdoor tv and couches are great for relaxing. Kitchen is well stocked and having the built in ice maker was nice . No need to buy ice. Location is perfect. Very close to the island trolley I would definitely stay here again. We all loved it.

This cottage was stunning! It was super clean and beautifully decorated. Each bedroom having their own bathroom was perfect. The photos you see online are exactly what the property looks like. Beautiful! The one and only suggestion I would have is to supply more toilet paper in each of the bathrooms. We would definitely rent this home again!

The property was exactly as pictured. Immaculately kept and the kitchen was stocked with everything you might need make a meal. We enjoyed the pool, ping pong table, and the short walk to the beach daily. We did not use the gas firepit area but it would be nice during a cooler time of year. The outdoor kitchen area was great for making dinner on the grill. We would definitely stay here again.

Everything listed for Amenities is accurate & this property is awesome!! Just be careful of the small step/ledge from the outside back patio to the pool deck; we kept fogetting about it. We would stay here again. The owners of this home should be proud, it's relaxing, well kept up & beautiful!!

The house was in immaculate condition. Clean and well set up with everything you would need from linens & beach towels to toilet paper. The location is fantastic with just a block walk to the beach and a short stroll to restaurants and shopping. The pool & hot tub were fantastic as well as all the other amenities at the house. The outdoor living space was perfect for lounging and watching TV outside, sitting by the firepit or for dining & grill area on the deck. The property manager was very responsive. We ran out of propane in the grill and they were there in under an hour with a new tank. We would definitely rent this property again. It was perfect!
