Oceanside, Sun Deck, Close to beach! KH106, Annie Oakley

The property was perfect!

Our family had a wonderful time staying at Annie Oakley. The house has everything you need for a week of relaxation. Only drawback was that wifi was not always working but it forced us to unplug!

The house was older but in good condition. The people that clean are not that good. The kitchen counter was not cleaned under the countertop appliances. I cleaned it as soon as I noticed it so the next renters should not have that problem. The sheets that were given for the sofa bed did not fit. The mattress is a queen and they gave us twin sheets. I called the next day and they brought more sheets but they were king. We made them work. We planned on using the trundle on the bunk bed for the baby but when we pulled it out to put her to bed saw what looked like mouse droppings. Did not attempt to use it after that. We reported that but they never came to do anything about that. The kitchen was well equipped but I had to wash everything before we used it. The beach chairs with the house were great. They really came in handy. In general the house was okay. It was a family group of various ages. The wi-fi was very spotty but we made it work. The AC at one point was not working well but when we called about that they did send maintenance and he was able to change the dirty filter and get that working. He also said that he was going to have them put in a service call. The TV in the room closest to the kitchen did not work. We could get it to come on but it kept turning off after about 5 minutes. The gutter over the steps needs to be cleaned out. Since the steps are open it was dripping on us whenever it rained. Also after the rain stopped.

We had a great week at Annie Oakley! The kitchen was well stocked for cooking when we wanted, and the appliances were newer and well kept. Perfect laundry facilities. Clean and comfortable. Short walk to the beach. Perfect price range. We would stay here again. Check-in and check-out were painless.

We were very pleased with the location and cleanliness of the house. It was located in a quiet neighborhood. The house was very spacious for our family of 6. Brindley Beach Vacations were very helpful and they also did an awesome in their response time with their emails.

We were very happy with the house. The pictures online do not do it justice as the house was much larger than we thought it would be. Perfect amount of space for 2 couples and 3 kids, and still had the sleep sofa to spare (we used it for movie night and lounging). Updated kitchen with lots of appliances (blender, Keurig, toaster oven, etc. etc.). Also lots of extra outdoor furniture/beach chairs for you to use. Strongly reccomend :)

The location of this house was really great. Close to everything the OBX offers plus the beach was a 2 minute walk. My only complaint will be that the house is very dark. The floors and walls are both dark so hard to see inside even with lights on. Other than that we really enjoyed our stay.
