Stayed Jul 20, 2024This lovely home exceeded all of our expectations. The property is perfect for larger groups, as there are multiple places to sit and read, work on puzzles, or even (ugh) take a business call! There is ample seating both inside and out, with a dozen comfortable outdoor chairs with cushions. There is an outdoor table that easily seats 10 with stunning views of the coastline. The bedrooms are light and airy, the beds comfortable, and although there is AC on the 1st floor, we didn't use it since there was a constant sea breeze, and fans in every room. The kitchen is well equipped, and having 2 large refrigerators was a big help with a larger group. The bathrooms have clearly recently been updates with fantastic shower heads, and top notch materials. And - there's a tankless water heater so no need to stagger showers in order to get hot water! Yay! Our hosts were friendly, engaging and prompt with a response to our questions. We're looking forward to returning next summer and discovering more about this charming part of the Maine coast.
