Just the perfect, quiet little area. Would love to come back and enjoy it in the summer! Bill and Bev went above and beyond to make us feel extra special during our stay.

If you like beautiful views of the ocean, the mountains and the trees, you'll love this place. The owners have spent years making this place beautiful inside and out, and it shows! A feast for the eyes and the soul.

Property was very clean, quiet, private, waterviews of the whole inlet and nature at your door best of all was the the friendly host Bev and her welcome scones. Plan on visiting this property again.

Wow what a place!! Bill was great, very helpful. It is a bit of a hike down stairs to the lower deck, but we’ll worth it. Spent a lot of time down there soaking up the sun and enjoying the view. Kitchen was well equipped, beds were comfortable, bathroom was clean an in perfect condition. We would not hesitate to go back!

We had such a wonderful stay and couldn’t be happier with our experience! The property was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully set up with everything we needed. It felt welcoming the moment we walked in, and it was clear that a lot of care goes into maintaining the space.The location was perfect, making it easy to relax and also explore the surrounding area. We especially appreciated the little touches that made our stay extra enjoyable, from the cozy atmosphere to the well-stocked amenities, scones, granola and the sauna! Loved the tiered decks to soak in the views.Communication with the host was smooth and friendly throughout, which made everything even more stress-free. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable getaway!

My stay was absolutely perfect from start to finish! Bev & Bill are truly amazing hosts warm, welcoming and attentive in all the right ways.The setting itself is breathtaking, with spectacular views and thoughtfully designed decks that let you fully soak it all in. The peacefulness makes it easy to fully relax and unwind. I couldn't have asked for a better experience.I'd return in a heartbeat, so much that I've already booked my next visit.

We had a great get away!

Everything was excellent. The place was exactly as indicated. Great location, great view and had everything we could have possibly needed during our stay. Bev and Bill are excellent hosts and would not hesitate to stay again.....already thinking about another visit in May. Bev's scones were to die for as was her granola. She also introduced me to shrub which was prepared and waiting in the fridge for us. A shrub is a simple, refreshing beverage made with a bit of flavoured balsamic and sparkling water! Thank you both for a wonderful getaway!

It was the perfect getaway. Beautiful, clean, well appointed suite with access to sauna. Quiet, secluded retreat with only minutes away from shops, parks . We stayed with our old Great Dane. Bev and Bill were amazing hosts, helpful and accommodating.

We booked this property for an anniversary stay expecting a private “entire home” experience.After checking in, we realized several key aspects that significantly impacted privacy and comfort were not clear to us at the time of booking. The sauna is shared, and there is a walkway directly past the patio where people may pass by, as the owner lives above. The patio area is therefore not fully private. The main living area is on the same level as the patio and does not have blinds, which made it difficult to feel comfortable in the space.Additionally, the kitchen is located directly above the bedroom, and noise made it difficult for us to sleep, especially as we tend to go to bed early. Due to the layout, sound travels between the upper and lower levels, which further impacted privacy. The kitchen setup also does not include a stove/oven or dishwasher, which may be important for some guests to know.Due to these factors, we made the decision to check out early the following morning and moved to another property.These details would have influenced our decision to book had they been clearly understood beforehand. This may still work for some guests, but it did not align with what we were expecting for a private anniversary stay.

Stunning views, beautiful accommodation and fantastic hosts. Definitely a hidden gem. Above and beyond our expectations. Not many places where you have a choice of which deck you want to view the bay from. Or just relax in the sauna that also has a bay view.

This is a gorgeous, quiet, private well appointed suite that is both in the forest and waterfront. Sitting on any of the decks and watching the seals and eagles while having a nice campfire and then a sauna in their new outdoor barrel sauna is perfect for relaxing. The owners are friendly and welcoming and had great suggestions for day trips and restaurants. There is a covered deck with bbq if the weather isn’t cooperating, and the bed is super comfy. We will definitely be returning.

Lovely place with nice people

Bill and Bev were excellent hosts. They were attentive to our needs and very approachable. Bill offered to help us unload the car. There are stairs to get into the unit, which was fine for us but would not be suitable for anyone with mobility issues. The views from the various decks are wonderful. The unit and the bed was very comfortable. The scones and homemade granola were a nice welcome. There is a toaster, microwave, counter top oven with airfryer, a bbq and a two burner induction plate for cooking. Just be aware that you cannot plug in and use more than one electric cooking implement at a time. Overall we enjoyed our stay very much.

Bev and Bill’s vacation rental unit was very well kept and super clean. The kitchen was well equipped for our needs. Bev and Bill were both so very welcoming and helpful in every way, from helping us unload our vehicle into the suite in our arrival, to making great suggestions about where to eat, walk/hike and shop! Our little dog, Boba, really enjoyed his stay, too. He even got to visit with the hosts for a little while! Thank you so much for making our stay so relaxing and healing, too. We hope we can stay again!

Our stay certainly exceeded our expectations!

Lovely property with great views, very clean. The views of the water are fabulous and we were greeted with very tasty scones and jam and a bottle of lemonade. We left something behind at the property and Bev was great giving us alternatives to get our items if we couldn’t get back in time to catch the next ferry. Very helpful and a lot of local knowledge. We had a wonderful time staying here. It was great meeting Bev, who was very friendly and helpful. The setting was spectacular and accessible for swimming (you need water shoes). The bed was comfy and there were so many little touches that we appreciated like the scones, jam, granola, bath robes, picnic basket...the list goes on!

Everything promised and so much more. Best little coffee spot.

The suit was wonderful with a large deck that led to stairs and a path to an ocean view. Our dog loved sunning himself on the deck and watching the waves crash against the rocky coastline.The kitchen was equipped with a fridge, microwave, toaster oven and hot plate. We baked our pizza on the BBQ.The hosts were wonderful and very helpful.We would definitely stay again.

This was a great place to stay to explore the Sunshine Coast. The suite was lovely, clean, well stocked and cozy and the decks were awesome. We sat out every evening to enjoy the view. The suite had everything you would need, and then some, as well as staying at a nice temperature during the heat of the summer, due to being right by the ocean. The hosts are very accommodating, and friendly. The suite is very clean, and well appointed. Lots of areas to sit and be by the ocean.

We had a most excellent stay. The suite was as advertised, the views from the decks were stunning. Both Bev and Bill were friendly and helpful. An incredible location for a quiet getaway.

The photos of Babajamas are exactly what you get. The beauty of the location is something you can only experience by staying there. It’s serene and breathtaking. Facilities are excellent. Hosts are welcoming & really accommodating.

This place truly surprised us — in the best way. For once, the photos don’t do it justice (how often does that happen?). Honestly, we almost don’t want to share it — it’s the kind of spot you’re tempted to keep to yourself.The space was spotless, sanitized, and peaceful from the moment we arrived. The host was incredibly kind and welcoming — it truly felt like staying with an old friend who shared their slice of paradise.The views from each deck were unforgettable — floatplanes landing, ducks drifting by, and a heron patiently fishing. Morning coffee and sunset nightcaps on the deck became daily highlights that we already miss (webcam- could be the next project ;).We brought our paddleboards and found easy access to launch nearby. At low tide, we explored rocky tide pools and spotted clusters of starfish. After dark, we stargazed under a bright moon — next time, we’ll aim for darker skies to catch more of the bioluminescence.There’s plenty to explore by foot or bike — though unless you’re into serious hill climbs, e-bikes are the way to go.And yes — the granola and scones were just as delicious as other reviews promised. We’re already dreaming of a winter visit to cozy up with the art and travel books lining the shelves.End your trip here — nothing else will top it!

We really enjoyed our stay. The apartment had everything we needed and a very comfortable bed. We loved all the outside spaces. Bev was a wonderful host and gave us great recommendations for places to visit and eat.

The pictures don't do this place justice. It's a cozy but spacious place with an amazing view and great hosts! We will be back!

The suite is tidy, clean, with comfortable bed and linens. The location is peaceful and conducive to connecting with nature. The hosts are exceptionally caring and communicate with ease. The suite is homey and not motel-like in the least. The series of decks down to the seaside are awesome.

Bev was amazing to work with and very responsive. The place was immaculate and beautiful. It’s the decks though that are truly magical- we brought a blow up sup and were able to easily launch off the bottom deck. Very much recommend this place.

We came back! Last year was incredible and we hoped to repeat the good times. And did we ever. Sadly, a shorter stay but BABAJAMAS allows us to slow down, take in the views, hear all the sounds and feel all the feels with comfort, class and warmth. Bill and Bev - you are the BEST! We loved our 4-night stay, especially because of the two decks, one at the house and one on the water, which we found to be very peaceful and relaxing. The apartment was well appointed and comfortable. The hosts were very helpful and friendly. We enjoyed meeting them.

We had the pleasure of staying at Babjamas. Such a wonderful spot. So many places to sit and enjoy the water, eagles, harbor seals, deer and of course the local kitty. This spot had everything we needed to have a terrific time. We will definitely be back. Thank you Bev and Bill

I thoroughly enjoyed my holiday in this suite. It’s gorgeous inside & out, with stunning views of Porpoise Bay in Sechelt.Babajamas has everything you need; comfortable bed, excellent kitchen, and outdoor seating to enjoy seeing the mountains, water and eagles in the trees.Bev is a wonderful host and provided me with recommendations for nearby beach walks and restaurants.

We had some travel hiccups, and our hosts Bev and Bill were amazing to work , allowing our trip to go smoothly. The unit was very clean, the scones were super yummie, and the accomodation spotless. Beaing on the water and watching bald eagles and see seals was the icing on the cake. Thank you.

The suite was perfectly clean. The location was unbelievably beautiful. The host built us a fire on our first night and it was incredibly memorable. Both of the hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming. We will be booking again. Thank you again for such an amazing first trip together.

Wonderful suite packed with games and activities, along with a beautiful deck and walk down to the water. We spent a whole day without leaving the property!

It is an impeccably clean home. Bev and Bill are incredibly kind and accommodating. The house is a very peaceful place to enjoy by the ocean.

My boyfriend and I stayed here with our dog for three nights and had a very lovely and relaxing time. The hosts were so friendly and inviting, we felt right at home. The suite was absolutely gorgeous and it was fully equipped with everything you would need while away from home. All the little details were so thoughtful, from the toothbrush’s, bath salts, the delicious homemade scones, jam, granola, the dog towel, water bowl and candle lit lanterns for cozy nights…we were so impressed! We were even able to get a little sun tanning in while lounging on the large deck in the afternoon. We had a great stay here and would definitely recommend this place!

Really were treated very well from start to finish. We stayed 3 nights and were very impressed with the entire place we stayed at inside and out. It has all the modern amenities you need for a great stay. The host Bev was very gracious and gave us a jar of homemade jam and scones that were wonderful. Would highly recommend this place to a couple that likes privacy and a view.

My girlfriend and I stayed at the property with our dog, and had a great experience. The hosts were marvelous, so friendly and accommodating and gave us some great recommendations. The property itself was a delight, very clean and relaxing, with an absolutely world-class waterfront deck area/access. We would stay here again in a heartbeat, our only regret is we didn't stay longer!

Had a lovely, relaxing stay at Babajamas! I would say that you'd definitely need a car to stay here, as it's far from any amenities. Though if you planned not to leave during your stay (which you definitely could do), then no problem. Check in was easy and Bill greeted us in the driveway and provided a quick tour of the grounds. We settled in and felt right at home. The unit was impeccably clean and had so many nice thoughtful touches (ie. cozy blankets, epsom salts for the bath, scones, popcorn!). It was super private - we had our unit and access to all the decks to ourselves the whole weekend. We appreciated that the deck right outside our unit was covered as we got some rain over the weekend, so we were still able to hang out outside and read. Speaking of outside, the decks and the views were so amazing. We loved watching the float planes come and go and looking out for sea creatures. It felt like our own private little resort! I would say if you're BYO-kayaks/SUPs etc, to paddle them to Babajamas from the public (?) water access down the road as from the suite down to the water is a lot of steep narrow steps! We utilized the BBQ (easy to use) and the kitchen was very well-equipped (including ground coffee but also had a french press, seasonings, all kitchenware you'd really need). We self-catered for the majority of our trip. Overall had an amazing time at Babajamas and would highly recommend!

If/when we come back to Sechelt, we will come back to Babajamas!! It was just so cozy and comfortable. The home-made scones with jam, the unforgettable view by the water, and the local events we got to enjoy made this a perfect weekend for us as we celebrated our anniversary. Thank you!!

We stayed only 5 nights but it felt much longer due to the moments of a lifetime that we shared at BABAJAMAS. The home comforts of the suite (and those scones!) the stunning views on multi levels, the ocean breezes and the light through the many beautiful trees.. the wildlife, and the amazing hosts Bill and Bev.make this a trip you will never forget! We really enjoyed our stay. The property was very clean and true to the pictures. The view was beautiful. It was my fist time using Vrbo and I would use it again.

Bev and her family were the most gracious and kind hosts. Our 3 year old German Shepherd took to them immediately and loved the waterfront access. We would love to visit again!
