Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: the location is wonderful. The house looks run doen and we almost broke our backs trying to open and close the sliding doors. Screened porch was soooo dirty. Needs a good power wash!

Our party of 11 senior adults had a great stay. Great location to the ocean, the house was in good condition, the kitchens and bathrooms were well stocked and in good working order. The day (Sunday) that we arrived, we had an issue with the upstairs AC. After calling the management team, it was promptly taken care of. We were very happy with this home. We would definitely stay here again.

Check in was easy. Communication was great. House was right on the beach with it's own pathway. Highly recommend.

Property needs work, closet cloths poll made out of sch 40 galvanized gas pipe support by cheap plastic brackets that broke causing the heavy pipe to fall hitting a guest. Porch screens need replacing, beck boards in very bad shape (shoes a must on deck) tile floors loose, front steps in bad shape.

This place was wonderful. There were 14 of us and we had a wonderful time. It’s very close to the beach and it’s much closer than the pictures show. The house had everything we needed to cook and have coffee in the morning. The amazing beach view and was peaceful and quiet. The only thing I’d recommend is a sign or heads up that the path to the beach needs shoes. There’s a few prickly plants and the wood on the walkway is definitely weathered.

It was in the perfect location—peaceful and away from the crowds. Each family had their own space and private bathroom, which gave everyone comfort and privacy. There was also plenty of room for us to gather and enjoy a movie or dinner together when we chose to stay in.East Island Rentals was wonderful to work with—responsive, kind, and professional. I contacted them on our second day to let them know the grill only had two working burners, which made it tough to cook for our large group. They responded immediately and had a brand-new grill delivered the same day!The beds were very comfortable, which made for restful nights. The only downside was that the two showers downstairs were quite small and outdated, making it difficult to shower comfortably. One couple opted to use the tub/shower in the room next to them, and our son and daughter-in-law used our bathroom to bathe their two young boys (5 years and 17 months), since their shower didn’t provide enough space either.Overall, we had a wonderful stay and truly appreciated the thoughtful touches and quick service. We would definitely return!

An older home that was, at one point, clearly a private residence. Well maintained and clean, though. Only one issue: the main floor is not all on one level. There are two sets of three stairs leading to and from the living room/main dining area. One of our party does not do stairs well, so that did present a minor issue. If no one in a party has trouble with stairs, though, they’ll never even notice.

This house and location were perfect! The pictures don't do it justice! It was even more beautiful in person! We will definitely stay at this same location in the future! Thank you for sharing your home with us. It exceeded all of our expectations!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It is right by the beach and relatively cheaper than some places-- that is the main benefit of staying here. But it is not well-maintained. I was confused reading the reviews-- trying to figure out if it was improved recently, but I do not think it was. Or if it was, it was not enough to make it nice. There are too many things wrong with the place to fully mention here. There were a few somewhat bigger concerns which we communicated directly to the staff by the end of the visit. But there were just dozens of bummers and frustrations as well as a layout that is just weird. In addition to all the normal rental house issues (dull knives, etc), the sliding doors all do not work without an adult throwing their weight into opening them, there are broken screens, ragged and torn cushions on outdoor furniture, broken cabinet doors and fridge drawers, not enough hot water to fill the jacuzzi tub, small ceiling leak in the rain, windows that do not open, sticky things in the kitchen drawers everywhere, old and thin comforters, musty pillows that smelled weird... basically it is vaguely decrepit but without any quirky charm of an old beach house. And I am not sure this was meant to be unlocked, but there is a dark and dirty basement with only rusty bed frames that my nephew thought looked like a scene from the Saw movies. I wrote to the staff about these things at the end of the visit, but I did not want people in there fixing doors while we were there. It should be done between rentals. I am not a fancy person and we actually had fun together with my extended family because we all get along. But it was probably the worst place we have rented in our years of annual famo trips. My overall impression is that this place is being rented at the lower end of the rental market without any signifiant investment to really maintain it... until it is eventually purchased and bulldozed for another McMansion which will probably be insane given the location.

The property is oceanfront and great location but in a complete state of disrepair. The furniture is old, deck cushions were torn snd bed spreads were stained. The rental company was great and flexible and allowed us to reschedule because of the hurricane. Would definitely use them again but would choose a different property.

It was perfect for being able to all be together and to walk right out to the beach to hang out, see the sunrise, and hold the wedding.

The master bedroom has a beautiful lounging area with fireplace and fabulous balcony overlooking the ocean. Waking up and seeing that is such a pleasant and peaceful way to start your day.The kitchen is well equipped with all kinds of appliances, bowls, dishes, pots, pans, skillets. You name it, they have it.Dining area has a table to accommodate 12 easily. Outside you have a screened in area, with ample seating. The decks are large with lounge chairs to enjoy the ocean view.Our family of 14 enjoyed this spacious home and the spectacular views of the ocean from every window.The only repair needed was the screen in door. Minor thing.Thank you for one beautiful Family getaway.
