The views from the home are spectacular. Home was perfect size for our 10 adults and 3 toddlers. High end appliances made meal prep very easy. Outdoor bar & grill was fantastic. Close enough to Charleston to go in for the day. Overall beautiful home.

I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed at The Bishops with our infant twins for our first family vacation. Overall, the house is good. The location is great. The crib is very outdated and somewhat broken. Definitely not up with current safe sleep recommendations. We needed to call maintenance and they came promptly. There are no poolside umbrellas. The only major downside is when it came to check out. The property management team was waiting in the driveway 1 hour before we needed to leave. It was like they were breathing down our necks to leave early. As I said, we had two 5 month babies to feed & load up so it made me feel like I needed to rush around even though we had the time. I think with a few updates, this house can be a top place for a family vacation.

Stayed Apr 13, 2025The home and location were absolutely beautiful. The only negatives are that the elevator doesn't go to the top level so it did cause an issue because most of the bedrooms are on the upper level. Also, the write up says it is a heated pool but you have to pay 1000 more to heat it.

Stayed Feb 24, 2025We loved the property hands down. There is nothing negative we can say. Everyone had their own rooms & it was spacious enough for everyone to move around freely. Now I will say, one of the ladies set the alarm and accidentally set it off.. when we called the maintenance they guy had the nerve to say, well when you set it, how did you think you were going to disarm it! When they told me what he said, I was like wow… can he just give us the code..! Other than that, everything was perfect!

It was a destination wedding held at Dunes West golf club. My sister, mother of the groom was charged with entertaining wedding guests the next morning until they connected with return flights. The house was a beautiful setting for hosting a small brunch. The outdoors and porches were enjoyed. The kitchen was a dream. The bedrooms and public rooms were beautiful and as well as comfortable.

I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall our vacation experience was very enjoyable.However, the following need to be addressed.#1 The toilet seat in the first floor master bath does not fit and a second floor bathroom toilet has a broken seat.#2 Carpeting in the first floor master bedroom has dirt/food stains,requires deep cleaning. #3 The television on the ground level was not operational,Management was aware at time of check-in, but not corrected during our stay. #4 Kitchen was in need of dish towels and no pot holders available. #5 Being that it was October and taking into account the high rental fee for this property, it would have been nice to have the pool heated and not be expected to pay $1000 extra.

Stayed Nov 2, 2024Great location. As advertised. Short trip across boarded walkway and dune to get to the beach. Elevator to the first floor was handy. Plenty of bath towels for each bathroom. Plan on bringing your own beach towels. Beach toys and pool floats on ground floor for the kids was nice. Kitchen had everything needed. Sunrise/sunsets were amazing.

Although it was very clean, some areas were a bit dusty.Water pressure a bit low. Very nice appliances. PLEASE-In desperate need of new pots and pans!!! Plenty of towels. Multiple tvs. All in all a great place and I would certainly go back. Comfortable and relaxing. Wonderful for family get-together. Many nice restaurants in the area. Great area to walk around, very close to the little town. Renting beach chairs/umbrellas was so easy and reliable. Sitting on the porches was a delight.
