There were several pesky ants on the kitchen counter and around the pool, but not enough to ruin our stay. Have rented from East Islands Rentals for a lot of years and have never been disappointed. The staff is friendly and accommodating.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented this home over other properties because we wanted a hot tub for our little children as well as my elderly parents. Due to the expected cold temperatures in March, a hot tub is always desired. The hot tub was broken the entire stay and the management company attempted to fix it but it did not help. There was no compensation for this. It was very disappointing and will prevent us from booking here again.

The property was in an excellent location on the beach. The house was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed. I would highly recommend the property to a friend or relative. I thoroughly enjoyed the porches, so much so that I did not leave the premises all week. Very nice and pleasant trip for the entire family.

We had several maintenance issues (2 of which should have been addressed before we arrived-malfunctioning electronic lock and pool pump outage) but the service from the East Island team was prompt and effective with each text. Great stay!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Sand Serenity is a GREAT beach house. Plenty of room for our 8 adults and 5 grandkids. Being oceanfront is important as the grandkids like to go down to the beach, but often want to come back to the pool or get something to eat. The table seating 12 was great for family dinners. We had a few minor maintenance issues, but East Islands took care of them within a few hours.

Spacious bedrooms and ensuites and a terrific bunk room give quiet time for 5 couples or multiple families. Well stocked kitchen worked great for family meals. Having the pool/hot-tub/grills/ping-pong-pool table downstairs gives you everything you need...and just steps from the ocean. LOCATION - a casual walk to dinner, drinks, coffee and even the grocery store make this location perfect. A power outage was quickly handled by mgmt with a visit and breaker box reset. Golf cart rental made visiting the entire island accessible, if you want to explore. Bike rentals worked for those that wanted to do some pedaling. This house is in the perfect location for Isle of Palms!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house is in the BEST location in IOP and the bedrooms are set up perfectly for our needs with 4 couples and 2 kids. We had a few minor maintenance issues (pool heat wasn't working, air conditioning upstairs wasn't working and one of the beds had the middle support missing) but they were all taken care of by Monday. Shout out to Tim who was exceptional and kept us updated and fixed our issues quickly. We kitchen is very well equipped and the 2 dishwashers and many garbage/recycling bins in the kitchen were so helpful. The 2nd refrigerator downstairs is also great. When we come back to IOP, we will definitely rent this house again.

This is the second time we’ve stayed at this home. We rarely return to the same property more than once, so that says something about how much we enjoy it. The location is perfect. Three families stayed together. This home is ideal for that. The only negative to us is the heat on the pool/spa. It was very temperamental and we had a difficult time getting it to consistently work. For the amount we spent on it that was disappointing. The home is starting to show some age and could use some minor updates. Several things that were broken three years ago are still broken. But overall we would highly recommend! We didn’t want to leave.
