Oceanfront Showplace - Island Manor

This house was even better than expected! The location was amazing, the kitchen was stocked with every pot, pan, dish, glass, and even crockpots that you could ever need. The garage closet had all the beachchairs, boogieboards, and beach toys that you could need... Our stay could not have been more perfect!

This was a fabulous property for the family vacation that I booked for. Three generations of family members. There were plenty of bedrooms, three full bathrooms, and the kitchen was stocked with the necessities to cook dinner every evening. I would definitely rent this house again. The owners went above and beyond stalking the necessities of this property. Balconies looking over the ocean along with balconies on the front side of the house. This was a great location for people of all ages, including my elderly parents. Very family friendly, and I would recommend it to anyone I know. Fabulous time had by all.

The host was very responsive and nice. The house is beautiful and our family had a great Thanksgiving. Fantastic location and the views from every bedroom were fabulous. This house should be at the top of your list if you are going to Edisto Island

We had a wonderful stay. Our group was five friends from college, meeting once a year, and we are all over 70. We love the closeness of the house to the beach. The house is always spotless and smells so good. Each room is very accommodating and comfortable. We have been staying here for several years now. If it was not a wonderful place we would not keep coming to the same house.

Property was very well stocked with everything you need rain or shine. The owners were incredibly responsive and helpful.

We just finished our second stay here, and I will be booking a third soon.

Perfect location for a week at Edisto! Easy walk to the beach. Porch was our favorite supper spot. Anything you need in the kitchen, crab pots, crock pot & Keurig Duo. Comfy beds and relaxing showers. Views for everyone from the bedrooms.

We enjoyed our stay so much! The location was fantastic and the house had every thing we could have needed! We hope to book this place again in the future! We will highly recommend this home!

My family and I were all very happy staying at Island Manor. From the moment we walked in the clean, welcoming home, we knew we had chosen the right home to rent for the week. My adult grandchildren loved the ease of walking a few steps to the ocean. The house itself had everything we needed, from a totally complete kitchen to books, games, beach towels, beach chairs and umbrellas, plus many more things. We would highly recommend the Island Manor.

Great house for family. Host was very quick to deal with one small issue we had. House was clean. Location was Great. Will rent again.

Family vacation was perfect in Island Manor. Lots of space for our big family, few steps to water, beautiful sunrises and sunsets. We will be back.

We had a wonderful time. Island Manor was perfect for our large group. The house was well stocked with everything…great cooking utensils and kitchen equipment, beach chairs and towels, and cooking spices!!! The outdoor temperatures were mild and we were able to use the wonderful deck for visiting after a long day at the beach. Despite the rain almost every day, we all managed to get in some good beach time. We will definitely return to Island Manor. Thank you Dean & Beth West.

Edisto has been our restcation spot for thirty years, and Island Manor has been our our favorite place to stay. The property and host are top notch. I would highly recommend.

Wonderful location and wonderful house. Plenty of room. Kitchen very well stocked. All the beach gear you could want. Very clean. Loved the big table so all could eat and play games together.

We had a great week. IM has everything you might need (and then some). Perfectly furnished. Not too fancy, just comfortable. House layout is great. It was hard for me to tell from the pics but it is much bigger than I originally thought and very “open concept”. I hate to rave about it too much because I really want it to be available the next time we come. IM is next to a beach access, which can be a problem at Edisto BUT this is a no parking access. Doesn’t attract as many people. Perfect location. Can walk to breakfast, the state park and the grocery. Easy access to the beach. Not climbing over a giant dune. Shaded cemented area under the house for the little ones to play with chalk when it’s too sunny to be at the beach. Protected sand area between house and beach for when the beach is too windy. Wonderfully stocked beach equipment closet. Lots of toys for tots and beach games for the older kids. Chairs too. We brought a pack and play and small high chair. Unlike many rentals there is a pantry with more than basics. Pam, spices. Soap at all sinks. TP, a bit of laundry detergent. Paper Towels, dish soap. Even emergency sun screen and tampons. I’m used to having to bring all this. Or buy it at the Pig — well now it’s Food Lion. Plenty to get you started and last the week if it’s just a couple. Bedding is nice. And most importantly, the house is CLEAN!!!! Owners were helpful. I hope we can come again and again! Thank you!

Chilly March beach week but the house was great. Great location on quiet Edisto Beach. House comes with lots of amenities to make it easier when traveling. Had a great time!

We come to IM every year and are always touched by the effort the hosts put into supplying everything necessary for a great stay. The house is ideally located, the layout of the bedrooms facing the ocean keeps all family members happy. It’s a wonderful home for a family vacation!

The owners provide everything one could possibly need: well-stocked kitchen, good linens, comfy beds and furniture, large dining table, and a beautiful beach. Edisto is great with zero crowds and just enough to do if you’re looking for a relaxing and very low-key few days away. We hope to return next December for our 50th.

We have stayed here several years, and hope to have several more. The house is lovely and so many things to make it accommodating. Location couldn’t be better. The house and owners made our stay very relaxing and enjoyable.

We loved the Island Manor ! Location right on the beach with 2 large porches to view the Atlantic! Plenty of room for our family of 7 Kitchen had most everything we needed We cooked in every night Seafood from Island was great ! Thank you ! We will be back 2025 !

First of all the location of Island Manor was lovely- right on the beach with a very short walk to the ocean! We had a bit of difficulty getting on line to receive our code to the front door. Perhaps it would have been easier to send it earlier. Edisto can have spotty internet service. The upstairs area of the home looked much more updated than downstairs where my husband and I slept.I think some repairs to the leak issues in the ceilings downstairs need to be addressed and painted, as well as the musty smell! Overall the downstairs is in need of repainting and a deep cleaning! I can see why there was mention of not moving furniture as there is no room to walk. Less bulky furniture would be a welcome addition Because the decking on the ocean side needed to be replaced ,we were not able to use it as much due to the babies getting splinters! It’s a lovely setting and with the mentioned updates could be spectacular !

Outstanding! Immaculate! Wont get any closer to the beach. Great dune. 4 porches - all covered. Attention to detail in every room. Coffee provided, well stocked spices. Umbrellas, chairs, beach toys. Fantastic outside shower. Having been a property owner for 25 years in the Outer Banks and dealing with all types of renters and situations, I can honestly say Dean and Beth have gone above and beyond. Only wish there were more openings in 2025.

The true measure of a host is not when everything is sunny and pleasant, but it's really when things head south. We stayed at this amazing property when tropical storm Debbie rolled through Edisto, resulting in a power loss and some flooding in parts of the island. Dean, our host, reached out to us several times to help with any issues we were experiencing. We HIGHLY recommend this property, not just for its location and condition, but because of the hosts supporting it. We will definitely come back.

This has been our 3rd stay at the Island Manor. The owners have added some nice touches, since our last stay. TVs in room. Although, we hardly used them. Too much to enjoy outside. Nice taller table & chairs out on 1 of the 2 decks. Decks are so perfect for just sitting and taking it all in. Wireless charging pad in the living room. USB & plug charging ports in every bedroom. New large tub washer & dryer. I probably have missed something. Just so very accommodating. Everything you could need in the kitchen. Nice sized bathrooms. Lots and lots of beach chairs, boogie boards and toys. Plenty of space to spread out or hang together. In the summer months.....so much fun watching for Loggerhead turtles nesting and hatching! We were waiting for the one just outside of Island Manor to hatch....but, one of the next few renters will get the pleasure. The owners, Dean & Beth are very responsive.
