Stayed Aug 11, 2024Banana Wind has a great location! It offers sun and shade outdoor seating and a well maintained pool and hot tub. The house itself is aging. The owners have made some updates but there are some maintenance projects that should be done (sliding door to deck for one).The main floor has a great layout but the soft seating has seen its better days. Bedrooms and bathrooms are well appointed. Glasses and eating utensils are in short supply and mismatched. The loft bedroom does get hot. Our family capitalized on the positive aspects of the house and made it a good week.

Stayed Jun 9, 2024Honest review- place is perfect. Perfect location , great set up for rooms etc and the outside pool set up is wonderful. The downside- so dirty. We actually had to clean the entire property. The countertops were sticky with jelly and other things, we had to clean the dishes and silverware with caked on food, the showers had hair in them,we had to make a swiffer ordeal just to clean the floors because they clearly had not been swept in a very long time (the vacuum on site is actually broken) our feet were black the first 30 mins of being there. It’s a shame honestly because the property is wonderful. We had my husband myself our 2 young kids 4 & 1, snd both sets of grandparents. Other than the cleaning crew not doing their job the place is great. I’m just angry we had to clean everything prior to use., I will be calling in addition to this review. Despite the cleanliness & of the owners get a different crew to clean the house there won’t be any issues. Location is amazing. Everything you need at the house. Pool is nice and big and amenities all around.

Stayed Jun 16, 2024Location was perfect!!!! House needs a good painting and some repair-shower-Brindly was very receptive and acted quickly. Should let guests know that there is no soap upon arrival-I even had to purchase a broom and dust pan-we also could not figure out the tv in the bedroom-

Stayed Sep 10, 2023We chose this property based on the location we were looking for. It was a great vacation home and we had a great time. It was a short walk to the beach and had a great view of the ocean. Outdoor area was great. Pool and hot tub were clean! Outdoor showers were wonderful. It even had some beach supplies and pool toys available. We would stay again, but there are a few things I would like to see improved: The home was not as clean as we expected. There was hair on the floor throughout, along with sand. I can understand sand is hard to keep out, but we expected better. The silverware drawer was not clean. Some of the pillows had yellow stains. The couch could use a good cleaning - we covered it with extra sheets found in one of the rooms. There were extra comforters thrown in closets (not folded). Only broom available was a small one under the kitchen sink. Only one dish towel was available. I had to buy more. If you are cooking for a lot of people, bring your own skillet as one is not provided. I had to make one pancake at a time! We just dealt with the issues and didn’t report it - I am hopeful that Brindley Beach would have addressed the issues. The TV’s were very difficult to figure out. They sent someone the next day and he was very helpful and corrected the issues. We would stay again despite these issues. This was our first vacation so we weren’t sure what our expectations should be. I didn’t expect to have to clean upon arrival.
