Oceanfront Oasis w/double covered porch 4 BR/2BA - updated Emerald Isle classic!

We have been at this property for the past two years and have thoroughly enjoyed our family vacations. I have never been to a property where everything you need is supplied. Great hosts and good communications. Will be back next year!

Our third time! Lovely shaded balconies overlooking the ocean. Fully equipped kitchen- hugely important for our 4 adults and 3 kids. Unit stocked with everything you might need and then some. Terrific hosts, terrific property!

This property is right on the ocean. It has great views and access. The kitchen is well equipped. We had everything we needed to prepare meals. There's a supply closet with extra soaps and paper products which allows you to enjoy the beach instead of running to the store. Hope to stay here again.

We have stayed here before - the view never gets old! The house is just steps away from the emerald green ocean. My favorite hang out is on one of the porches while reading a book! The weather during our 2-week stay in April 2026 was sunny every day except on our departure. We like that the house is located in Shell Cove with one outlet… great for walking or biking. Also, there is plenty of shopping within 2-3 miles as well as a variety of restaurants. Great location.The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, coffee mugs, flatware, pots and pans, etc. You won’t be disappointed.The host (Mandy or Beth) responds quickly with results.

Beautiful view of the ocean. I enjoyed the location. I loved walking on the beach. The kitchen had all you needed to cook. We didn't cook. We enjoyed the restaurants.

Great stay, clear communication with hostess, she even gave us option of changing reservation due to severe weather (possible hurricane!). Very nice property and actually rather private with undeveloped lots on each side. Would stay here again.

The communication was five star! We had a couple of questions during our day which were responded to ASAP and with kindness. This place has all the dishes and utensils you need, it even had happy birthday decorations, which we enjoyed if the owner here also has a closet with extra supplies and even a kite, which we also enjoyed, wrapped up and put back in the closet. The open floor plan allowed plenty of space for our giant playpen. Tons of beach chairs, washer and dryer, including detergent and dryer sheets were ready and waiting for us. We had a great time on our stay. The property was just as described and it was in a great location. The beach house was undoubtedly one of the best-stocked places we have stayed. The kitchen had everything you need no matter what you intend to cook.Both the interior and exterior of the property were clean. It is on a quiet street, but is next to a public access walkway. This was never an issue as it was rarely used and the beach was never crowded in our area.The owner had travel-sized toiletries in case you forgot anything - mouthwash, deodorant, toothpaste, and even spare batteries. That was definitely a nice touch. The property had plenty of quality beach chairs.The bedrooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable. The view from the upper deck was wonderful.Being able to bring our dogs was very much appreciated and helped alleviate one of our biggest worries when we travel. The complimentary bottle of wine was a nice touch and greatly appreciated.We highly recommend this property. The owners have gone to great pains to ensure a nice stay for those choosing their beach house and we will definitely book with them again in the future.

Loved the location!

We stayed for one week in this beautiful oceanfront beach house in Emerald Isle with our four kids, and we absolutely loved it. The house was spotless and well-maintained, featuring new, comfortable mattresses that helped us all sleep well. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the essential cooking tools, including pots and pans, making meal prep easy and convenient. The stunning ocean views from the house were a highlight, and the beach itself was peaceful and uncrowded — perfect for a relaxing family getaway. The owner, Beth, was incredibly kind and responsive. When the back gate hinge needed repair, it was fixed within 24 hours, showing great attention to guest comfort. Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and we look forward to renting this home again in the future!

Wonderful week at this house. The location is amazing and the house is well stocked. Communication with the owner is quick and helpful. We really hope to come back again and stay here!

Upon arriving, the location was perfect & the ease of getting unloaded was great. The wide set of steps leading up to the door was greatly appreciated. First impression, when we stepped inside it smelled clean & looked excellent. We felt welcomed by the wine & the hand written note. Kitchen, dining & living room was spacious & laid out well. We enjoyed our first meal of pizza at the large dining table.The bedroom upstairs, 1st door on left, a little disappointed in the size of the bed, but it was comfortable. The closet was small as well, we decided to leave our clothes in the suitcase. Having the hooks on the walls was a plus & we utilized them. The beach themed decor was spot on! The supply closet downstairs off the master suite was a very nice touch. We didn’t need anything much this time, but was a very thoughtful & welcomed offer.The outside shower was a big hit!SuggestionsPost rental address on refrigerator & in laundry room in the event 911 must be called. We did not need it thankfully, however, everyone didn’t know it in case we needed it.Change the AC filter leading up the stairs. I’m sure it’s on your maintenance list, but it’s time to change.The clothes dryer will not cut off automatically, could be a fire hazard

Lovely relaxing getaway. Our second time renting this property for family vacation. Love the beachfront porches and rocking chairs. Well equipped kitchen--I cooked for 3 kids and four adults every night. Outdoor shower super helpful. Never tired of the view.

The perfect home for a family vacation

This was our first stay at Emerald Isle. We absolutely loved the house. It had everything you needed to make your vacation enjoyable. Very clean, comfortable beds, and so close to the ocean. We want to book this house again next year!

Wonderful location directly on a pristine beach with gorgeous ocean. Cozy, comfortable bedrooms with tasteful decor. Ideal kitchen for cooking and dining. Easy, straight-forward check-in and check-out process. Safe and peaceful neighborhood. Perfect for our ladies’ springtime getaway.

We hope to visit again, this lovely & comfortable cottage. The views of sky, beach & sand are beautiful from every window . The rooms are tastefully decorated & anyone would feel good relaxing in the home.
