The Space:

Find your happiness on “Cloud 9”. This 5bedroom 3 bath is perfect for larger parties. This ocean front home was built to please guests of all ages. Just minutes north of the historic St. Augustine and directly across from the Guanna State Park, Cloud 9 is the perfect place to get away from it all! The beach, although public, has a very “private beach” feel. Nestled along A1A, within minutes you can be enjoying all the activities and pleasures available in St. Augustine or Ponte Vedra. (Shopping, golf, hiking and exploring)



Cloud 9 consists of two floors that offer ample room to spread out. When you walk into the front door you will find the entrance to a large game room. The downstairs has kids in mind! The large room is equipped with a Ping-Pong table, a gaming table, large flat screen TV, a kitchenet and a triple bunkbed. Off of the game room is a full bathroom (shower/tub combo) and bedroom that houses another triple bunkbed. Each bunkbed is a Twin/Twin/Full.



Prepare yourself for stunning views from all rooms on the second floor. As you climb the stairs you will enter into an open living space. The living room has a large sectional which is perfect for watching your favorite show on the widescreen tv. The dining area has a table that comfortably seats eight. The kitchen has an island that also seats three. Not only is the kitchen fully stocked with everything you need to make your favorite meals, it also holds a wine fridge for your favorite beverages. You will find the décor to be very calming and inviting. Please note that the fireplace is decretive only.



The master bedroom is located off of the kitchen and living are. It has a king bed and an ensuite bathroom. In the bathroom there is a roomy walk in shower and a soaking tub, perfect for catching the sunset over Guana Park.



Cloud nine has a split floorplan upstairs. The other two bedrooms are located on the south end of the house. Each room has a queen bed and shares a full bathroom with a walk in shower.

Please note, that all guests staying at a Portoro home are required to sign a rental agreement and provide a valid form of ID. The primary reservation holder must provide a Government-Issued ID that matches the name on the rental agreement. This is a requirement from St. Johns County. All guest's names (first and last) must be provided. The ages of any minors are required to be listed. This is for emergency and insurance purposes.



Bunk beds are built for small teenagers and children.



*Maximum occupancy is strictly enforced. Per County regulation, this house can accommodate 10 occupants, excluding children 12 years of age or under. However, the house sleeps a total of 14.



Guest Access:

We offer convenient keyless door codes for self-check-in. Wren Beach Rentals by Portoro uses smart locks with check-in details provided 48 hours prior to arrival by email and text message.



• Early check-ins or late check-outs: If the property happens to be ready earlier than the standard 4 pm check-in time on the day of your arrival, in most cases an early arrival option may be available when confirmed with the main office. Late check-outs must be confirmed with main office staff prior to the date of departure.

Immerse yourself in the blend of adventure and activity by renting a bicycle. Lose yourself in enchanting streets, uncover hidden treasures, and enjoy the ocean breeze. Take in a leisurely pace with beachfront strolls, explore shops, and savor local cuisine on foot.



Enhance your experience with a sunset cruise, offering breathtaking views and the chance to spot playful dolphins. For the adventurous, rent kayaks, paddleboards, and other watercraft to explore our beautiful estuaries and waterways.

Please note that beach driving is not permitted. Beach access points can be found on Coastal Hwy at even-numbered properties and on the 3000 block on S. Ponte Vedra, specifically odd-numbered properties.



Other Things to Note:

Please pay close attention to following the house rules. Non compliance could result in sizable fines.

- All guests staying at one of our Wren Beach Rentals by Portoro homes are required to sign (esignature) a rental agreement and complete identity registration.

- Age restrictions apply. Reservation holder must be 25 years of age.

- All guests must be included on the guest list and not exceed the maximum number stated on the listing.

- Upon arrival, we aim to ensure your safety, proper access to the home, and guest features. ALL guests are required to read the house manual upon arrival. Should you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to Wren Beach Rentals by Portoro.

- Known damages incurred during your stay must be reported to the property manager immediately.

- Before check in, we will send you detailed directions to ensure a seamless arrival.

- Check-in time is 4:00 p.m. Check-out time is 11:00 a.m.

- We cannot guarantee early check ins or late checkouts. When it is possible to check in early or check out late, there will be a fee for anything outside of a one hour window within our standard times. If your need for an early check in or late check out is great, your best option is to book an additional night.

- Some homes offer pools/hot tubs. There is no guard around the water features when available. Use at your own risk.

- Some homes have cameras for external monitoring only.

- Stays over 29 days – please inquire separately for terms and conditions.

- HOTEL TAX COLLECTION: Both St. Johns County and the State of Florida require all hotel and vacation rental hosts to collect hotel tax. We collect these two taxes within the booking transaction. The state requires 6.5% and the county requires 5%.

- LONG-TERM STAYS: (Snowbird, long-term rental). Contact Wren Beach Rentals by Portoro to discuss if a long-term stay discount applies to this listing. Stays over six months are waived from paying the State and Local Hotel Tax. However, there are additional fees we need to collect for damage coverage and housekeeping. In compliance with our policies for long-term stays, we need to collect an additional cleaning fee for guests staying longer than 3 weeks. Your Guest Ambassador will coordinate the cleaning schedule for a minimum of once every 2 weeks. You can request cleanings more frequently if desired. Additional cleaning charges will be sent using a payment request or resolution request, immediately following the cleaning. Your guest ambassador will reply shortly and be available to assist you where needed.

- This is a No Smoking property. Penalty fees for violations will apply and you may be asked to vacate the premises with no refund at the discretion of the Host.

- For the safety of guests and the home, there are noise monitoring devices. These devices only measure the decibel level and do NOT record any audio.



Interaction with Guests:

Wren Beach Rentals by Portoro communicates via email and phone. After a booking is confirmed, rental agreement will be emailed to the guest for e-signature. Check-in instructions are sent by email and text message 48 hours prior to arrival date (keyless entry). We offer convenient keyless entry for self-check with no need to stop in at a local office. We do typically check in with guests by email/text 1-2 times during their stays to ensure a 5-star experience and remain available for any questions/inquiries. We are available to guests 24/7.



We follow the CDC Recommended Cleaning Guidelines. You can rest assured this property has been completely sanitized prior to check-in.

    Thoroughly enjoyed the stay! Was a little disappointed that the ping pong table was located in the garage because it was very hot out there in the afternoons all week so kids didnt play much. Easy beach access, esp for the grandparents! Thank you so much for having us. Will consider renting from you again!

    Kitchen apliances insuficient, disorganized. Only one champaing glass, irregular kinds and sizes of glasses and utensilies. No table linen. Lack of kitchen trays.One bathrom tap in master bedroom doesn't work.Rest was fine. Thanks!

    Great extended weekend stay. The house was very clean and had everything that you would need for your stay. We had a family gathering of 8 and had lots of room. We enjoyed the beach which were steps away from the back door. We also enjoyed using the ping pong table in the garage. The house was very comfortable. Overall great experience. Would consider it again for future. Highly recommend.

    We gathered our family together for our anniversary and we had a wonderful time! Cloud Nine is a beautiful residence! Plenty of sleeping space, very spacious deck and wonderful views of the ocean. Super easy beach access and we really appreciated the outdoor showers. Just a couple of annoyances: The online description and pictures are different from one website to another but the VRBO pictures are correct. The toilet paper holders need to be changed as they are rusted and they fall over.

    This is a neat place! You walk right out onto your own beach! There are plenty of good places to eat close by and just enjoy the area. But in the end you wake up to the morning sun and the waves crashing on the shore. Priceless!!!

    A beautiful home on what felt like our own secluded beach. Plenty of space to relax and play games with friends. Comfortable beds. The home had extras like beach chairs, games and books to read.
