Oceanfront house with private pool, hot tub, & washer/dryer

We really loved having a house with such proximity to the beach as well as a pool and a hot tub. The house is well equipped with most of the needs for a family on vacation. We really enjoyed, in our downtime, to have TVs in the living areas and in the bedrooms so that everyone could enjoy their own programs. We hope to visit this house again soon.

Nice house, great views. Some minor inconveniences but no deal breakers.

Off Duty is a great home for our fishing group. We bring 6-8 guys every year, and it is perfect location for everything. Improvements were made since our last stay in 2023, thanks for listening! Can’t wait to stay again in 2025!

Second time staying here and it was better than thef first time. Nice wide open floor plan with excellent views. New washer and dryer( last stay they didn’t work).. didn’t have much as far as pots ( wanted to make chili) stopped in at the office and they reimbursed us for the chili pot we had bought) great customer service.. There was some type or rodent running around in the walls ( could hear scratching ) but think that’s the case with most houses.. hot tub latch cover was broken but not a huge deal… all in all this place is great and will definitely stay here again.

Lovely property, only downside is taking supplies up 3 flights of stairs?

The best feature of this house is the location - it was spectacular! We woke up to sunrise over the ocean every morning and the beach was never crowded. We also loved the layout of the house and that it has both a pool and hot tub. The kitchen has a very workable layout and tons of flatware, plates, mixing bowls and cookware. Appliances were all decent except the annoying dishwasher- the upper rack would roll out whenever the door was opened and the bottom rack came off the rails every time it was moved. Regardless, the dishes came out clean. Some of the mattresses need to be replaced as they have permanent body troughs. We also had a day of heavy rain and one of the bedroom windows and a patio door in another bedroom were leaking badly. All in all though, I'd stay there again!

Location was awesome views from the deck and inside the house looking out to the beach and ocean were amazing. Even with hurricane Debbie, it was still awesome to sit inside and see the ocean turning. Everything we needed was equipped in the house plenty of room very comfortable. It was our first time back since losing a family member in 2016 and we couldn’t have asked for a better time. Pool and hot tub were used a lot. We had so much fun will be back next year.

Our first visit to Avon,NC and Off-Duty did not disappoint. Our only wish would have been to have the ability to heat the private pool. Couldn’t have asked for a better week.

Have stayed in this house multiple times over the past 10 years, but it makes me sad to see the conditions getting worse. Owners really need to spend money on updating appliances and fixing the floor in the game room. You can hear the dryer running from the basement all the way on the third floor.

Perfect location. Nice views and wide open floor plan. Went for week of fishing and took minimal clothes because of the washer and dryer … mid week attempted to do laundry and the dryer did not work so we had to dry our clothes outside ( thanks goodness for nice weather ). Rental company was notified so they could get the issue fixed for future renters and they said they would forward the issue to the operations manager. Never heard back.
