Ocean waves!

Pros: Spectacular ocean view and access to the beach. The kitchen is well equipped and there is convenient access to grocery stores. The fireplace is lovely for cool evenings and mornings and super easy to use. The sound of the ocean waves is relaxing and therapeutic. Overall, it was a 3.5 out of 5.Cons: there isn’t a comfortable piece of furniture in the entire house and the mattresses are like sleeping on a marshmallow you have to roll out of in the morning. If the mattresses were replaced we would definitely love staying here again.

Very comfortable and extremely well appointed kitchen. Nice to have stairs direct to beach but not safe for anyone not sure footed. Direct access not far away though. Everything worked- tv easy to use also. Definitely recommend this house!!!

Great view, improved stairs but hard on older people; great coffee/beverage bar top notch. Clean, fresh, stocked kitchen better than my own. Special surprise last night of our stay, two deer ran along the beach

My family and I had a great trip in this cozy little place. Great fireplace, comfortable beds, clean, and everything we needed to just hang out and enjoy the ocean air. We'll be back.

It had everything I wanted fireplace, amazing views, access to beach cute and cozy!!

Unfortunately we arrived on the coldest day of the year so because the home has baseboard heat ( common in these older beach homes) it took a very long time to get the house warmed up( the fireplace was very helpful for this). Once the home was warmed up our stay could not have been any better. The house is cozy and inviting and just steps from the beach. The deck would be amazing in the warmer months. We would definitely stay here again anytime of the year. The house has everything you need for an enjoyable stay and is pet friendly and just a short distance from the Roads End Park where you can easily take your pets out to the beach.

This was such a cute little house in a fantastic location. Really beautiful views of the ocean from the front lawn and a very relaxing atmosphere.

Great old house with character and just right for a small family or group. Big open bright living area. Being right on the best beach is so amazing. A short walk to amazing tide pools. They had a set of beach toys for the kids, puzzles and games. Very soft main bedroom mattress. Stairs to lofted area and down to the beach could be tenuous for bad hips or knees or people with balance issues.

Well done and charming house in perfect spot. Wished the gas fireplace was operational, that was disappointing to learn upon arrival. And the wifi was not connecting and incredibly slow, had to drive to Starbucks to get a couple work emails out! Would/will return nonetheless as quite like this charming house and really everything about it, except for the mentioned fireplace and internet (easily fixable) situations! Glad to find clean dog friendly place, as I have stayed at a couple dog friendly places that smelled of pee, and when you have a doing that is nice and very clean it is also so nice to find a rentable home that is too! Thanks for keeping dog friendly! :) She loved the beach more than we did!
